Apple Music:
1. good 4 u 3. traitor 4. deja vu 5. brutal 7. enough for you 9. 1 step forward, 3 steps back 12. happier 14. jealousy, jealousy 16. favorite crime 18. drivers license 20. hope ur ok 51. drivers license 51. Butter** It's clear that Apple Music is not the ARMY's focus platform. This gives a more clear depiction of how butter is performing without fan support. wbk.. a good debut, but nothing near a #1

Does anyone actually care about BBMA’s? I will watch it mostly because of the performances rather than the awards themselves, since, in most cases, who is the winner should be evident to me. I am looking forward to watching Kiss Me More, Leave Before You Love Me (does it really remind of Last Christmas), Glass Animals (I assume they will perform Heat Waves), Alicia Keys, P!nk, The Weeknd and Twenty One Pilots. I also am curious about Butter. I have avoided watching its video on YouTube even though it was suggested to me a lot yesterday.

Just zip through what and who you don't want to see.

Spotify charts not updating yet are probably due to Butter rather than Olivia:

14.85 M? That’s real smooth…

Oh I'm sure miss Olivia will have a lot more streams and Butter will be filtered like it happened with Dynamite.

Is it the finals of Eurovision? Yep, it's always huge in my country. Currently 25 ESC related songs charting on Spotify.

It's bc there's not as many fans in the US as u think. With streaming it's harder to manipulate. With sales it's so much easier b/c they can continue to make different cards and receive funds internationally. This is 100% WITH fan support let's not be delusional

We really need to start reading TOTC with a grain of salt. Have you maybe considered that they are actually considering complex rules such as them not allowing songs to re-enter such as with Holy, Lonely, and even Popstar? No one knows what’s going to happen really because Billboard is inconsistent in itself but still. I know you haven’t though because you’re just a mindless, jobless fad.

Without the remixes that dynamite had, I really don't think it's going to be as big of a #1 as people think. With the dynamite remixes, fans had the chance to buy 4 copies for EACH from the store and on itunes and amazon. Don't see sales being nearly as high without them. To be honest, if Olivia pulled driver's license numbers with good 4 u from the album bomb, it's a pretty decent chance it's going to be close.

As I said yesterday, the first couple of Dynamite remixes didn't come out until the following Monday, midway through the tracking week. Before that, just like with Butter, it was just the original and the instrumental. I expect the same, if not a stronger strategy, especially as Good 4 U is going to be even stronger on streaming than WAP was at the time. We all know the Army will stop at nothing to get their #1.

Blinding Lights' chances of exiting this week are gonna be cutting it close. Again, TOTC's now-deleted early predictions accidentally excluded a J. Cole song that had debuted last year but was on The Off-Season that's expected to return above BL. If Drivers License and 1-2 other songs manage to finish above it as well, it'll be gone. If it manages to hang on for another week, I think Olivia/BTS netting several entries above it should push it out, unless it gets a significant sales boost from the BBMAs. I'm not so sure that track will return. Billboard set a precedence a few weeks ago when they did not allow Holy and Lonely to return to the Hot 100 during Justin's album release. Allowing that track to return to the charts will only continue to expose how inconsistent Billboard is with its rules. I'm far from a Justin fan, but I believe that rules should be applied consistently. Even so, Blinding Lights is predicted to be #22. View AttachmentActually, there is a consistency from them when it comes to non-active radio singles. If a non-catalog song that's otherwise too old gets propelled to a new peak by an album bomb, it's allowed in. That's why Candy Paint and Butterfly Effect were able to tag along with their respective album bombs while Holy and Bodak Yellow (both with top 5 peaks and prospects for the top 30 on album week) weren't. The catalog exception is why the So Far Gone rerelease bomb didn't happen, nor is Beam Me Up Scotty with the exception of the newly released tracks.

I'm pretty sure it had enough points to re-enter the top 100 during Khaled's album drop. No consistency from Billboard.

It was bottom 20 when it left prematurely. That is recurrent by Billboard's standards.

It debuted when it was new, and the week that it re-entered with the album was its 14th week of release. Popstar, on the other hand, was on its 41st week past release, and songs enter recurrency automatically if they already concluded a radio run after week 26 (as seen a few years back with Shakira's "Chantaje"). As such, it falls into the "needing a new peak" thing, which like Bodak Yellow and Holy, it was nowhere near.

We need to stop pretending that this week's #1 will be a contest. When BTS stans want #1, they'll get it yeah, their first week sales & streams will be massive I just hope BB will do something to filter the spam Sales somehow.. like they can get their no.1 and go, not cheating the system by website sales for multiple remixes for 10weeks or more..
