15( +4) Drake - Wants and Needs 851,366 ( +118,201) Biggest Gains (50K+): Wants and Needs Damn Drake for not giving this song the full single treatment. I can't believe it didn't get a video/radio push. Smh. Even though the recent IG post said nothing of note, I actually wonder if he's shot or is in the middle of shooting a video for WAN. It not getting a radio push is baffling but I think they'll do it with a video |

The only reason why What's Next even got a video/radio push was because whenever he releases more than one song at a time, only 1 song out of the collection gets the single treatment while the rest get abandoned. It's rather unfortunate because a radio push/music video would give it more longevity on the charts but whatever. I'm about ready for him to officially kick off his album era. Tired of the little droplets he's been releasing since last year. |

Between Migos and Maroon 5's new albums coming this Friday, next chart week seems to be defined by shameless graverobbery... š  Button and Lifestyle are just bonus tracks but it's still weird.. lifestyle doesn't belong there...it's a dance pop song when the rest of the album have more Reggae fusion type of songs...and lifestyle is not even a song by maroon 5....it's jason Derulo feat.adam levine |

As usual disgusting comments from usual suspects when it comes to Maroon 5. Nobody is forcing you guys to listen the album or songs, why do you feel you need to insult them? And they've been collaborating with rap artists since forever, it's not something new.

I don't even get why Urban/Rhythmic isn't just playing Wants and Needs regardless. This is clearly a case of something that doesn't need an adds date, from two superstars on the format, literally everyone is familiar with it already...
This is probably just another reason why radio continues losing audience these days. Can't notice clear indication of demand in the current era and still stuck on doing everything traditionally.

Especially as Nipsey Hustle is on the remix (another grave robbery). Do they want us to go to sleep knowing that this album is a terrible idea to begin with? |

Anyone has predictions on who is going to be the Year-End Top Artist of this Billboard year? Olivia, Morgan, and Weeknd are probably top 3 so far. This year will be unqiue as touring will not count for majority, if not all, the year. Social 50 chart was also suspended in 2020, so it won't be included either. This will basically be similar to pre-2011, when it was solely based on Billboard 200 + Hot 100 points. |

Interesting about the Social 50 chart, I didn't know that, I guess because I never felt the desire to check it much. Last year of course also had virtually no touring from March on; this year there might actually have some, as things start to open up more later this summer and into the fall, but it's hard to say if it will be more or less than the two winter months of last January and February pre-lockdown. |

Regarding Doja Cat, I don't have high hopes for her album streams - Hot Pink has album tracks with less than 20 million Spotify streams (for instance Chromatica has all album tracks over 30 million) so it will be about what kind of hits she'll get out of it. And placing KMM as the final track is just a bizarre decision as it won't help that song to reach new peak on charts.
