Yes, though they're noticeably off-pace this week. Usually, day 7 of the tracking week constitutes 60-70% of the orders. With about 3 hours left in day 6, they only have 19% of their goal, and since the actual raw goal is a lot higher than usual because of it being two songs, one with few versions, that day 7 rally could be lower than usual.

It was meg who leaked this place to Twitter, since the posts with screenshots from this Hot 100 thread are coming directly from their Twitter account that they linked here on Pulse. No shocker there. The most obvious person.

Meg hasn't posted here in a couple weeks so I'm pretty sure they've been temporarily banned, but they can still see posts which is why they're leaking our stuff to Twitter.

And of course a reply to that tweet says we don’t have the same energy for Western artists. I’d say the only song that didn’t generate a ton of criticism for mass-buying was Levitating, and that ended up missing the #1 anyway.

Why can’t you like a musician/s without baggage? You like Taylor Swift, well, swifties will doxx and threaten employees of Big Machine & P4K. You like Nicki Minaj or pretty much any female rapper, they’ll cyberbully everyone they perceive to be against them, even other rappers like Chika, because they can’t have more than one woman (their fave) be successful.

It’s frustrating, it’s toxic, it’s dangerous.

Edit: you know what, I’m not done. People treat being a stan like it’s intrinsic to their identity. Think - without BTS, where would you be? Without Taylor or Bieber, where would you be? Would you know who you are? I ADORED Melanie Martinez as a kid, I was making stop motion videos to her songs & shit, and when accusations came out, I was floored and didn’t know what to do w myself.

Having names for people who aren’t stans of your fave is weird. This ‘us VS them’ mentality is so infuriating because we’re all just people and whether you stan someone or not is so inconsequential. It REALLY DOESNT MATTER. I thought I was angry, but really im just so sad. We’re all hurting each other over BS that doesn’t matter. You see how negative and cruel comments are under music posts on Twitter? It’s heartbreaking

More and more I'm coming to the conclusion that these chart discussions are so messy because our relationship with music and musicians and fans of musicians and anti-fans of musicians is so messy. How could talking about the charts be anything but messy when one considers the baggage attached to it?

I’ve listened to both PTD and Butter and i can come to a conclusion on how i’d rank their… “1’s”:

1. Dynamite
2. PTD
3. LGO
4. Butter




5. Savage Love

I just wish there was more organic value to these songs for me to completely like them more because I feel like their 2 recent songs are in the Good-Great category. I also wonder how PTD would sound like if Ed Sheeran just kept it to himself and if it would’ve actually hit #1 or not.
