It would be such fucking BS if “butter” blocks “industry baby” next week (if IB gets enough points, that is). “Butter” hasn’t had an OTR moment yet by keeping possible number ones at #2 (G4U thankfully hit #1), so we just have to cross our fingers, I guess.

I want it to make it, but I'm not even sure if it'll be an Honorary #1 yet (being #1 amongst songs not about to be smacked with a rule change in the near future). It's not leading Apple Music, its Spotify dominance is shaky, radio isn't biting, sales are modest, and YouTube US streams are good, but not enough to make up for their lower weight (you'd need like 30m to do so, and it's only looking to do about 20m, and that's only if the UGC split isn't bad). Please stop posting so confidently, because Army ralliers like to take snapshots of such posts (absent the context of the user having no idea what they're talking about) to rile buying groups into making sure sales are enough to stomp out any competition. Honestly, I'd be half-convinced you're a plant that's purposefully giving them ammo, were it not for your stubbornness in other ventures here.

"Good 4 U" has now officially spent a 10th Consecutive Week at #1 on the Hot 100, She now becomes the first solo female to spend at least 10 Weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 since Adele who ended up spending a 10 Consecutive Week at #1 on the Hot 100 in 2016 with "Hello". I'm so proud of Olivia for now joining an elite group of music artists with at least one Double Digit number one!

Let's make this clear: If Billboard changes their rules regarding non-digital-storefront sales within the next month or so, it'll be because Columbia finally caved and decided that it's not worth propping up an act with bad streaming stats and bad radio callouts whose fans consistently manipulate the charts via website sales in favor of acts on their own label who have much broader appeal from the industry and general public (i.e. The Kid LAROI and Lil Nas X).

And that will especially be apparent if Industry Baby gets blocked from the #1 and Lil Nas X calls attention to it (though I question how much he can really say publicly about BTS' tactics because they're labelmates, and he even collaborated with RM on an OTR remix).

well it's up to Lil Nas and Justin Beiber to save the charts huh lmao. But unless Stay or Industry Baby are sitting at 400 points and lose, there won't be enough uproar lol

Do you have One Too Many’s run on the streaming chart? It’s been charting for 30+ weeks, so I’m assuming it’s been on the streaming chart at some point in its run.

Columbia can stop this by simply deleting the multiple versions. If either song gets 100,000+ UNIQUE buyers weekly, then it's absolutely legit.

I wish they'd give Levitating a big final push to #1.

At this point seeing BTS at No.1 just makes me laugh. I don't care for any of their songs or Olivia Rodrigo's but I must say that the way the ARMY has managed to manipulate the Hot 100 is just mind blowing. I mean 5 No.1 hits for them and I haven't even heard any of their songs. Blimey!

Blame the removal of UGC for this. It’s not just BTS. I mean, half of the 2020 #1’s were one-week debuts, which most of us have forgotten about already or not even heard.

I think it's for the same reasons they routinely make strong claims like "no way" and "locked for #1" even with a terrible track record in terms of accuracy, week after week.  I'm not going to diagnose the issue, but it's definitely an issue among other issues.

All imma say is, the people that are LIVING for the Army ruining the charts better be welcoming Morgan Wallens inevitable comeback single at number one.

It probably would've gotten there with streaming alone but it'll have over 100k sales easily, if that song from last week is any indicator, and those'll be LEGIT sales too. Shit it'll probably have even more tbh
