Stronger had the perfect storm of Katyβs debut (Part of Me), Adeleβs Grammy performance (Set Fire to the Rain), and Whitneyβs death (I Will Always Love You. If I remember correctly, Rolling in the Deep rounded out that Top 5. What an iconic Top 5 that week.

I'm hoping Billie's album has enough success to knock One Too Many to recurrency, but not to derail BL one week short of the longevity record. "One Too Many" will not be sent recurrent next week since it is still gaining consistently on all 3 metrics. |

The only notable 10+ gain I see is "Waves" by Luke Bryan, which climbs to #61 (+12), but something to look for is Walker Hayes' "Fancy Like", which is now #15.

Butterβs chart run is as organic as square watermelon. And even if its week at #1 was somewhat dubious, at least Watermelon Sugar had longevity and the rest of its run was legitimate. Canβt say that about the last 5 weeks of Dynamite or anything after the first 3 weeks of Butter. |
