Other than Billie, itβs a slow week.
Edit: It looks like theyβre pushing Happier Than Ever as the next single off the album which is good since itβs easily one of the best song off the album.

"Happier Than Ever" title track was so good. I wished Billie made more songs like this in the album.
Also, the ending of "NDA" to the start of "Therefore I Am" is so satisfying. π

I liked "Skate" more than LTDO in terms of first listen. Nevertheless, Silk Sonic never disappoint. Excited for the album!

Overall, HTE is a good follow up to WWFA, WDWG though itβs not as good as the latter, itβs still a good sophomore album. Iβd give it a 8/10.

So only 4 Fridays remaining for Grammy nominations & Drake, Weeknd, Travis Scott, Silk Sonic, Cardi B, Lil Nas X, Nas and Kanye West all wanna drop? This is hot mess.
Why isn't album scheduling standard in music industry? For eg, Marketing for a big movie starts at least 8 months before release. Music artist could do 3/4 weeks before release.

Skate sounds so much like Earth Wind & Fire that I wouldn't be surprised if Andy and Bruno get sued. Not that I'm complaining, though, Skate's a bop.

Hoping for a Billie album bomb. Happier then ever is fantastic and the title track is insanely good. I feel like following up her debut album was always going to be difficult due to its success and sound but she has released the perfect second album, and hopefully shuts up those losers that said she was flopping and that she was done.

The recalibration happened on AM and, after nine hours, Billie's highest song is at #63, lowest song is at #225. This is gonna be ugly if her numbers don't start improving right away.

I can't believe she's had the title track up her sleeve the entire time and her team thought it would be better to drop all those dull, sleepy singles. It might not have been a hit, since it's so long and takes a while to build up, but it would have made people excited at least. It's by far her most intense and emotional performance to date and she's singing her heart out on it instead of mumble whispering.

In a perfect world, Happier Than Ever will be #1 for 20 weeks... I'll just be happy if it gets any sort of traction since it definitely doesn't feel like obvious hit material

Happier Than Ever has a very unconventional structure for a pop song and usually I think that'd be a bad sign for a single, but I've seen nothing but Crazy praise for that song and if anyone can pull off a huge hit with a weird structure rn its Billie. I've got big hopes for this one
