it's just so weird to see Billie's new album have only 2 songs above 1m on US Spotify. Not the worst thing, just weird and not Billie numbers we grew accostumed to. A lot of people didn't bother to check the album. Hoping they do and they might.

I think more people should just put Dior by Pop Smoke at the end of their albums, like fuck it lets add it to the end of Happier Than Ever yknow

it's discounted.. dababy is is still the superior version and the version that will always count on hot 100

I think the discount may be in part to pop songs being the genre discounted right now on iTunes. Dua has her other songs, like Love Again and Don't Start Now, discounted as well.

Billie's performance rn maybe similar to Camila Cabello's before. Massive debut album then the sophomore album didn't top/equal the success of debut. But we just had the first day data for Billie, who knows what happens in the following days.

Female artists I can think of who had a massive debut and the sophomore album topped the success of debut was Taylor & Dua.

They only want "Butter" to have the most weeks at #1 of the 2021 Chart year, I highly doubt that these Stans will continue to excessively buy "Butter" afterwards.

I know that the Hot 100 has always been manipulated and toyed with (Old Town Road for example was only able to reach 19 weeks as #1 because Lil Nas X dropped remix after remix to keep it at #1), but this is so obviously artificial. The BTS stans are turning the Hot 100 into a joke, and Billboard is all too happy to play along.

His fans were outraging over the identity crisis that this posthumous album is and some pointed out that it ‘isn’t a Pop Smoke project if Dior isn’t on it’, so they really slapped it on there for fan service 🤧.

According to this, it looks like the 8/07 chart will be the last week at Number 1 for “Butter”. The race for this week is between “Stay” and “Industry Baby”. Bieber & Laroi have the best shot at it from first glance, with a huge radio lead and a slight streaming lead. LNX is a YouTube juggernaut, we’ll see if that has any notable affect.

“good 4 u” has radio on its side plus solid streams, but I doubt it will be #1.
