The recalibration happened on AM and, after nine hours, Billie's highest song is at #63, lowest song is at #225. This is gonna be ugly if her numbers don't start improving right away. The highest is #16 and the lowest is #105 now. Gaining slowly but surely

This is obviously very early but it seems based off Apple Music so far Billieβs album will probably do 175-225m streams first week.

The original version of Levitating has been discounted on iTunes and now it's sharing space with the remix in the Top 20

At least it's not country again this week:
I Gotta Feeling, the most downloaded song on iTunes of all time, is discounted.

Oxytocin has the more hit potential, it got an addictive sound but Happier Than Ever is mesmerizing! And kudos for releasing a 5-minute in an era where shorter songs are becoming more common as it is streaming friendly

Is "Not My Responsibility" eligible to chart on Hot 100? I just thought it's just a spoken word and not a song. Are there any spoken words charted on Hot 100 before?

Is Wizkid finally going to get a 2nd hit now? Heβs mostly known in the US as the guy who was featured on Drakeβs One Dance, but seeing that his song Essence is #14 on AM, also having some minor sales and radio traction, i think we might actually see a sleeper hit, if it lasts after summer of course.

Should we expect another single from βHappier Than Everβ after itsβ self titled track or can we see it done? (Considering there are already 6 singles from this album)

This is obviously very early but it seems based off Apple Music so far Billieβs album will probably do 175-225m streams first week. I thought similar, but guess not after all. Spotify US: 12,474,996 (WWAFAWDWG had 20,835,940)
Global Spotify: 35,591,412 (WWAFAWDWG had 46,936,356)
AM US(24 hour mark) for WWAFAWDWG was: Compared to what shayonce posted is worse. WWAFAWDWG did 194M, this will be lower.

OverHeated #36. Not My Responsibility #37. Male Fantasy #38. Everybody Dies This is... pretty underwhelming, no? And it looks like she got considerable promo on Spotify with banners and multiple playlist placements. There was also this. Apparently, some sort of event sponsored by her label and Spotify for her album. http://instagram.com/p/CR-3D6RrBKL

^it is. Her WW numbers are smaller than evermore's US numbers.
anyways, I blame the terrible rollout and single choices. She is still a huge public figure and a very big name. Yes, she had a big push, but with people not liking the singles, it killed their potential interest in Billie's album.
She can 100% overcome this tho. This is still a very nice debut, just not on that huge benemoth level we thought she was I guess.

Is what happens next her continuing to have critical and commercial success, just outside of singles? commercial success? Oh okay I laughed First week sales of Lana's albums (her self-titled album doesn't count since it wasn't properly released on physical so there are no records for it) Born to Die: 77K, is now 4x platinum Ultraviolence: 182K Honeymoon: 116K units, 105K in pure sales Lust for Life: 107K units, 80K in pure sales NFR!: 104K units, 66K in pure sales, one of the most acclaimed albums released in 2018 and one of the most acclaimed albums of the 2010s I should also note that despite being one of the defining acts of the 2010s, Lana has only had three Top 40 appearances. Born to Die, her most famous song, a song that has 497M views right now, never even charted. Neither did National Anthem, and Video Games only reaches #91. If Billie will follow a similar trajectory as Lana, that's hardly a failure
