Get Into It (Yuh) is such a fun bop. As far as Playboi Carti-style songs go, I like it a lot more than Motley Crew.

Lizzo & Harry Styles are returning with new music I fear we're not ready for the serve

I'm not a fan of Harry, but Golden was the best song on Fine Line, and I wish radio would have held on to it a little longer. It could have been a sleeper hit. ESPN used it as their song for the 2021 Wimbledon Championships in late June/first half of July. Not sure why Golden was dropped that early. It will be interesting to see what Harry does during this new era.

^ I was here to post the Lollapalooza news about DB!tch. While I certainly applaud them for doing this, it should've happened earlier - not on the day of. At least, it's progress. The label should pull Levitating (Remix) from streaming and iTunes - the fact it's still selling/streaming shows there's a disgusting fanbase that doesn't care. The song is past its peak - keeping that version alive is simply a money grab. Like I said in Levitating thread, Lady GaGa/Celine Dion quickly removed their RK hits and reissued their respective albums. Dua should insist on the same. It's simply the right thing to do. Surprisingly, on Spotify I'm Your Angel is back on Celine's All the Way.. compilation (not sure if it was ever taken off that album), but not on the original album it appeared, These are Special Times, but it doesn't show up in the search results for that song. Spotify does that when an album/track isn't available on the original issue. It's been removed from the digital and physical versions of Celine's TAST as well as all compilations, including ATW. The video was pulled from her YT. Releasing a solo or new duet version doesn't help, since RK wrote it. It's likely unprecedented an artist would voluntarily remove a #1 song from their catalog. I honestly thought they'd quietly try to slip it back in after a couple of years.

While we're on the subject of Harry Styles, never forget:
To be fair, Watermelon Sugar sounds like a summer song, and I'm not really sure if it would have smashed if it was released in late fall.

"Happier Than Ever" is such a good song. Billie gets loud and I'm *here* for it.

Okay I went on Omegle, set my location to United States and went to ask what is the #1 song of the country...all first 25 strangers answered and sang to Good 4 U, meanwhile some confused "Butter" as "Build Me Up Buttercup" song

To be fair I preferred "Lights Up" on the first listen but I admit it was a risky and bold choice for a lead single.

Yes, it sucks that Chris Brown, DaBaby and Tory Lanez are still around in some form, but I think the important thing to remember here is that they're also struggling to get hits completely on their own these days. DaBaby has only had 2 true solo hits (Suge and Bop), everything else has either had a feature on it or was a track featuring DaBaby himself. Tory hasn't had a real hit on his own since Luv in 2016 and was only able to get away with another hit on Whats Poppin last year because he had a generally agreeable verse on a remix that came out weeks before the Megan Thee Stallion incident. Even with Chris Brown, for as continuously successful as he's been, his last true solo hit was Don't Wake Me Up nearly a decade ago. Every other hit since has been with at least one other artist (yes, I'd even count Back to Sleep, which only got as high as it did thanks to the Usher/Zayn remix and likely would have been lost to obscurity if that never happened). Maybe it's just me, but it's very telling that these three artists need to collaborate with others just to get attention for their music these days. I donβt think it matters that Chris Brown doesnβt have solo hits anymore. The fact is, radio still supports him 12 years after the incident with Rihanna. Heβs also a big name that can still sell out concerts. He really was not impacted by any of it besides losing his pop base initially. However, he gradually transitioned more into Urban/hip hop which seemed fitting for him and not forced at all. So to sum it all up, the Rihanna incident didnβt effect his career at all. He has more than enough solo hits from his early days and still getting hits today. I would say heβs had an impressive run. Besides, even Rihanna forgave him and collaborated with him after the fact so he was never really cancelled by the general public. All this stuff also predates the βcancel cultureβ of today. I would say DaBaby is going to be impacted hugely moving forward. He destroyed the pop base he was building and no one is going to dare to feature him, except T.I. I guess. But calling for Dua Lipa to pull βLevitatingβ is kind of a reach. The song is way passed its peak and he did attempt to apologize for what he said, in his own bizarre ways. Thereβs no reason to pull the song. I truly think the only people that get cancelled are pedophiles and even then not all the time

I would have rather seen that get more success than Adore You.

From a commercial standpoint, I think it's too early for Weeknd to push the new album. Should have waited until 2022 or late 2021 to create more hype. But I'm not complaining we get more music
