I haven't seen even a remotely positive response to Boyz, most people I've seen says it looks and sounds like it came out in 2005 and does not sound like one of the good hits from 2005 lmao

Now I’m wondering if there is a major drop on November 5th though. I get they originally said the album was coming January but then saw 1. Skate flop 2. Adele coming November and could challenge #1 into January And figured it would make sense to push it up before Adele and also before people lost more interest. However they could’ve did November 5th… the only notable release announced publicly is ABBA who they’d be able to beat most likely in US. If they just settled for being #2 behind Taylor on November 12th then I have a feeling behind the scenes yet another major drop is expected and they really had no avenue of setting up a #1 album regardless after October. There have been heavy rumors circulating that Travis Scott is gonna drop a prelude mixtape to his Utopia album called Dystopia before the end of the year, and I think it's fair to say even a smaller scale Travis project would demolish Silk Sonic. If there is any truth in those rumors, it would be a strong candidate for that date.

No Time to Die (Finally!!) Came out in the US today, I wouldn't be shocked if Billie's theme charts again Hopefully it does, it deserved to be a hit.

Think Adele can pull the LWYMMD/Me & debut a week early?

Thé blackfisher better enjoy her little week of iTunes fame, before it plummets to the ground like every nicki song or feature

Think Adele can pull the LWYMMD/Me & debut a week early? no. airplay week has been readjusted to align with the streaming & sales week. so the little loophole that caused songs like "LWYMMD," "ME!" and "Roar" to debut early no longer exists.

Kendrick, Eminem, Travis? Or Ed Sheeran second week?

Think Adele can pull the LWYMMD/Me & debut a week early? Since the radio tracking week is no longer different than the streaming and sales week, it can't happen unless her new song isn't released on a Friday. Those two songs you mention debuted in the Hot 100 thanks to three days of radio tracking.

This fall is pretty stacked so far with Adele, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Silk Sonic all releasing.

In case Jesy makes the top 40 Hot 100. Has this ever happened? An ex-member of any group, who hit top 40 as a solo artist, but failed when he/she was still in the group. Any example??? A cool achievement imo.. Are we talking about groups that have actually had recording contracts and released material, or just groups that existed? In either case, I'd imagine there's a plethora of solo artists with top 40 hits that were previously members of groups that went nowhere commercially. One such example is Toni Braxton, who was in a group with her sisters called "The Braxtons" before going solo.

This fall is pretty stacked so far with Adele, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Silk Sonic all releasing. I never thought this year would get bigger than the Kanye & Drake albums but we got all of them coming plus Kendrick and Travis as well. If they all release within the rest of the year, we could get recurrent streaming songs lingering around on Spotify and Apple Music from all these albums which is really insane.

If this all happens, it makes me wonder what will happen in 2022. I think it's a safe bet to assume Ari, Drake and Bieber will be releasing and maybe even Post Malone but I wonder who else.

I'm starting to doubt that we're gonna get Travis or Kendrick in 2021, though I also was pretty confident Silk Sonic wasn't coming until 2022 either and look where we are now

With HITR and Franchise hitting #1, I think he wants to break the Janet/Weeknd record and get 4 years with a #1 hit with Utopia.

There's this, but not sure it can even be considered a ''major drop'' after Motley Crew debacle. That song spells doom for Post's career. http://instagr.am/p/CUxWxwVFt7R

Oh god. Now Posty’s career is over?
Not shocked “Boyz” is doing well on iTunes. The Barbz do not disappoint.

I'm not seeing another Trollz or Say So with Boyz - it has good sales, but Fancy Like has 2/3rds of them and it isn't a number one hit. And it actually has good radio and streams!

Diddy's original "Bad Boy 4 Life" in 2001. I would play his version instead.

1 flop single is not a career killer for an artist with like 5 songs that spent a full year on the charts
