It's not just Ed though, they don't have their normal projections out for any albums. They don't have any articles posted after Oct. 29, so maybe the staff took the weekend off for Halloween.

At the end of the day these industry supported charts are made for industry people and it really seems like they're trying to make independent chart reporting and discussion as hard for people as possible. I'm sure it's for absolutely no shady reasons whatsoever tho!

HITS should be good. I don’t think they were ever even truly going by Alpha Data numbers. They’ve always had their own numbers and posted weekly charts and album projections far before Alpha Data came along a few years ago.

HITS numbers would always be a bit different from Alpha Data’s even when they were “powered” by them so I was always confused on that anyways.

In my nightmare world as a chartwatcher, we get a new article stating that the end-of-the-world company that owns MRC Data, Billboard/Rolling Stone magazine and their respective music charts and now apparently owns AlphaData now also owns HITS and Spotify and Apple Music and every other audio streaming service along with every single radio station in the U.S. and we're all f***ed because now we won't ever know sh*t about f*** as far as music charts are concerned because they intend to be super-secretive and non-transparent about everything moving forward.
