Dawn FM is a really great album, although he does take the radio station theme a little bit too seriously. Tyler needs a little more listens for him to click with me for his verse on Here We Go Again, and same with Wayne for I Heard You’re Married. Gasoline and How Do I Make You Love Me are tracks that remind me of Gaga for some reason, they probably also need a couple listens as well.

My favorite tracks on first listen are Take My Breath, Sacrifice, Out Of Time, Is There Someone Else, Starry Eyes, Don’t Break My Heart and Less Than Zero. The latter track is basically the SYT of the album so i expect that to click well with others.

If you want to avoid the ‘radio filler’ tracks they are Dawn FM, A Tale By Quincy, Out Of Time (the ending), Every Angel Is Terrifying, and Phantom Regret by Jim.


Overall, I’ll give this album a 8/10 for now.

I'm saying it now... "Less than Zero" is "Save Your Tears 2.0". I fully expect this to be pushed as a late album single, with a remix of it with another female artist. I can see Taylor Swift or someone with a similar voice hopping on this later on.

I like the album but nothing hits like Faith, After Hours or Blinding Lights on the album.

I loved the album too. I'm not sure how many obvious hits there are on here but some of them should light up the charts. Lots of regret to be found here.

Just checked the credits and Max Martin is involved in every track except two. That's probably more work than he's done in the last five years combined

"Sacrifice" and "Less Than Zero" are the definitel standouts from the album, then my personal favourites (aside from "Take My Breath") would be those and "Out of Time"

Personally I really liked "How Do I Make You Love Me?" as well as Sacrifice and Less Than Zero.

People are saying that Less Than Zero will be the Save Your Tears of the album but with the attention that it's getting I could see it blowing up already. It and Sacrifice could be in a Way 2 Sexy / Knife Talk situation. The best part is that Less Than Zero is honestly probably the best straight-up pop song he's... ever released in my opinion.

The album is outstanding. I fully get the concept of your life and your regrets flashing right in front of your eyes moments before you die. It is way more toxic than After Hours, but Abel does that in a very subtle way, which fully fits the theme. The entire album holds a very similar level with no track being even mid. I'd rate it higher than After Hours. Not a 10/10, but, honestly, this is his best body of work since Kiss Land.

The one problem I have is that no song is an absolute S level banger, which After Hours did have with the title track, but Less Than Zero might get there with time (and perhaps a remix, I'm squinting at you, Taylor/Dua), but ot, Out of Time, Sacrifice and Here We Go... Again are easy A+ tier songs and the standout tracks for me

decided to finally check out "Fingers Crossed" — it literally sounds like if Tate McRae (of "you broke me first" fame) were covering Olivia Rodrigo's "happier." pretty mediocre.

Just listened to it too.No hate but I don't even know the appeal. It's not even comparable to drivers license's appeal. Is it trending on TikTok that's why it's getting the streams?

Sacrifice and Less Than Zero are very likely (both could debut in the top 5) and I would've said the Tyler and Wayne songs, but their verses are kind of short so it isn't really certain at this point, though Here We Go... Again is getting really good reviews (and there's a lot of talk about the "my new girl she's a movie star" lyric). We'll see, I think the two I've mentioned should be safe, and probably up to two more, I'd guess Here We Go... Again and Gasoline are the most likely. Five or more seems out of reach at the moment, but it depends on how well the album performs throughout the week

Given their audience I'd assume that Gunna would open better on AM, but Abel would have a stronger debut on Spotify and have more stability throughout the week on AM

Actually I'd say that if anything Less Than Zero sounds somewhat like a mixture of Circles and In Your Eyes. With the right strategy I honestly think it will be massive

I'm not sure were you're looking. Checking out both Apple Music US songs or albums (this via kworb) I'm not seeing anything new from Gunna. I see the album at Apple Music and I see it is #3 at iTunes. The Weeknd's album is #1 at AM.
