I believe the plan is to release this after "Never Say Never," or near its peak. She teased it at CRS but I don't believe it will be sent to country radio for at least a few weeks.

I hope "Two Story House" winds up on her second album when it materializes. One of the most impactful songs she's put out to date. I'm excited to hear "Heart Like a Truck" and all, but kinda wish TSH got a chance to be a single. If it gets put on the album, maybe there's still a chance down the road. It just gives me "The House That Built Me" vibes.

I doubt they send "Two Story House" to radio at this point, "Never Say Never" is probably not peaking until May I wanna say, and then assuming this song is a hit, it probably won't be hitting the top of the charts until early January at earliest and by then "Two Story House" will be over a year and half old and I imagine Lainey will have an album out during this songs chart run, and more than likely if "Two Story House" is on the album there will be another song that will have more buzz since "Two Story House" has never had much buzz ever since being released.

Can’t lie, I’ve been on this site for over 10 years (Without posting) and honestly is the reason why Im in college for Music Business and finally got the courage to start posting regularly here a year or so ago and sometimes I feel like I get shut down a lot when I’m kinda just expressing what I would hope would happen or my thoughts, not what I think would happen (even though sometimes it might sound like that lol). I love reading everyone else’s opinions, outlooks and insight so seeing folks get shut down ain’t cool.

Also it’s frustrating getting told something won’t ever happen due to previous pattern when the music industry is one that has A LOT of exceptions than the norm, is based significantly on luck and typically folks not in the industry don’t even know what they don’t know.

I totally feel you and your probably right but I got the feeling that they were a fan of the song/artist and were expressing their hopes knowing there’s a very slim or no chance it will happen. I enjoy reading other folks favorites tracks off albums they’d hope would be singles (it introduces me to a lot of tracks) so I just feel like there’s really no benefit of telling someone something won’t happen as it doesn’t feel good to anyone and at the end of the day, we really don’t know what will happen and I’d rather just have an open mind, ya know. Like I genuinely appreciate all of your posts and insight Ray and wouldn’t do that to you.

Impacts Country Radio next week (5/23). I wouldn’t be surprised if she has some sort of radio deal lined up either.

I saw Lainey live a month ago & she performed this song. Absolutely love it and I think it will at least be another Top 10 hit for her.

Clearly BBLG is putting a big investment in Lainey. I think she is well on her way to being one of the few females that get consistent airplay on country radio.

For me, i which this is more instant, but it is probably my least favorite of her singles thus far. Still good, but I’d rather hear TAMOK or Never Say Never.

Uhhh, i like Lainey & all but why would she get a radio deal after one solo hit and 1 duet hit? I would argue she’s not established enough yet.

I don’t have iheart in the market i’m in, but my big local country station debuted the new Tyler Hubbard single this morning, which would make alot more sense since everyone knows who he is.

This is just background noise to me for now. She’s great, so it’ll grow on me but I won’t revisit it until it’s in the 30s (so 4 months from now). It isn’t as instant as “LA” or “Neon Diamonds” which I felt were smashes.

I love this and think she's got another hit on her hands! I'm getting a good feeling about Lainey Wilson's long-term country music career prospects. She's really firing on all cylinders, getting a lot of industry support, and stands out from the crowd in a good way.

That's all I think of when I see the song title, haha.

As for the song itself, I like it. The only other non-single song of hers that I've heard is "Two Story House", which I vastly prefer to this, but I can see this become a decent-sized hit. Lainey certainly seems to have industry support and momentum behind her.

I really went in wanting to like this but unfortunately didn’t. I don’t hate it but this just doesn’t feel very fresh or strong for a lead single or even a single period. It’s mostly the way she sings the verses that I have issues with. Hope she continues to see success though.

This song is GORGEOUS of course I've always adored Lainey Wilson. This song is simply breathtaking. Hoping this SMASHES because Lainey is so deserving of all the success!!
