She debuts Smell Like Smoke in the latest episode of Yellowstone and the song is available now. It is also track 1 of newest version of Bell Bottom Country album.

"Smell Like Smoke" is fantastic. It's a shame it had to come a few weeks late and get tacked onto the album after the fact, but it's a great addition to Bell Bottom Country nonetheless. I could see it working as a potential single option, too. "Hold My Halo" is still my top pick for next though.

She debuted a new song called New Friends on Yellowstone this week. It is then tacked on the end of the album.

Heard the chorus for this in a commercial recently, liked it, and checked out the full song. This is the first song I've enjoyed by her. I mean, I've always liked her when I've seen her live at awards shows, Christmas specials, and so on, just not any of the material itself before now. Hopefully she keeps putting out more like this.

She debuts Smell Like Smoke in the latest episode of Yellowstone and the song is available now. It is also track 1 of newest version of Bell Bottom Country album. The strangest thing with this is that BBR/BMG pulled the original album and while I bought that one on iTUNES, I had to buy the new song too to have the full album. I don’t mind this but it does make me have to reset the track listing numbers on the metadata so it aligns properly on my album. At least they didn’t pull the album away and make me re-buy the whole thing. @ the album just continuing to grow by 1 song per week. They didn’t put it on the iTunes version yet. I don’t even know if they will. So while the streaming albums get those songs, outside of “Smell Like Smoke,” I don’t know if they’ll make that part of the “for sale” versions of the album going forward.

Lainey Wilson is going viral on social media because of her donk and the whole thing and her responses to it have me rolling. She started her show with a few bars of "Fat Bottomed Girls" when I saw her earlier this year. (tiktok/FB is blocked here at work if that's mentioned there.)

I know iTunes is dead but she currently has #1 song and album all-genre, which is quite nice.

I just went to book a ticket to her show and saw it's sold out. It's the same venue Maren Morris was at on the GIRL tour. If that tells us anything, Lainey is ready to take it to the next level.

I like, really like most popular female country artists. Don’t really listen to the males. IDK what it is, but Lainey is just not clicking with me and neither is this song. Maybe it’s her voice? I enjoyed watching her live performances I’ve seen from award shows, but am having a hard time getting into her music. 🤷🏽♂️

There’s not a single song of hers I find “great”. I haven’t heard anything I disliked from her (other than “Dirty Looks”), but I also haven’t loved anything from her (except for “wait in the truck” - but her part annoys me). She’s just all around fine to me. Definitely much prefer Carly, Kelsea, Ashley, Maren, Gabby, Lauren, etc. out of all the newer ladies who consistently hit the top 30.

I feel like a lot of people might disagree with me but i was watching videos of young Reba on YouTube and something about Lainey, her personality, voice and music reminds me of a young Reba. Even with Wait in the truck, it puts me in the mind of Fancy. The camera loves her as shown with her appearances on Yellowstone and I’d be interested to see what would happen if she continued to develop in that along with her music.

I love her as a person, but haven't been a frequent returner. I LOVED "Things a Man Oughta Know" though, but i'm rather meh on most of the other stuff.

Think this might be my favourite song I've heard from her. Gives me Deana Carter "Strawberry Wine" vibes for various reasons.

Since this will be peaking relatively soon, I'm hoping to hear soon what the next single will be. "Watermelon Moonshine" seems like an obvious pick, though I wonder if they'll opt for an uptempo then close the era with WM. Then again, her first album only had one single so maybe they will stick to just two before moving along. Nonetheless, I am confident what comes next will rise the charts without a problem, and I am happy with the way radio has treated this new artist!

Tbf "Dirty Looks" did nothing for her and came out waaaay before the record did, so it still felt like her last album only effectively had 1 single from it.
I think given the success of her current single and rising starpower, we'll probably get at least 2 more singles from the new record, and I can see her chart climbs starting to get quicker, too, which will help with that.

It has to be Carrie or Miranda. Maybe when Carrie and Brad had “remind me” she also had a single out as well.

Also, maybe my timeline's off, but weren't we close to having this happen again with Miranda with "Drunk" and "Settling Down"?

It actually hasn’t happened on Billboard in almost 40 years. Reba was the last to do it in December 1986 with her collab with Hank Jr. called “Mind Your Own Business” and her sole single “What Am I Gonna Do About You”. BILLBOARD TOP TEN FOR WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 27, 1986: 1. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS-HANK WILLIAMS, JR., REBA MCENTIRE, WILLIE NELSON, TOM PETTY, AND REVEREND IKE-WARNER BROS. 2. Give Me Wings-Michael Johnson-RCA 3. WHAT AM I GONNA DO ABOUT YOU-REBA MCENTIRE-MCA 4. Love's Gonna Get You Someday-Ricky Skaggs-Epic 5. Cry Myself To Sleep-the Judds-RCA 6. Then It's Love-Don Williams-Capitol 7. Fallin' For You For Years-Conway Twitty-Warner Bros. 8. Half Past Forever Till I'm Blue In The Heart-T.G. Sheppard-Columbia 9. You Still Move Me-Dan Seals-EMI-America 10. Oh Darlin'-the O'Kanes-Columbia
