Wow...shocker. I thought End of The Road would have made it into the top 10. Meanwhile, IWALU is really overstaying its welcome. Time 4 it 2 go now! 🙄

"Tennessee" is the only song left I really want out, but everything else I'd theoretically be okay with winning.

15. Ooh yayy glad one of my lower ranks came up with "Ain't Nobody Like You." This was a new song for me on the list but I enjoyed it on first listen, but it wasn't quite as instant for me like some other new songs to me. It could probably grow on me with more listens, especially as the chorus is really good.
14. "The Best Things In Life Are Free" was a surprise song to me because I had no idea about this song or that Luther & Janet made a song together. This is a really cute, fun and happy feel good kind of song. I enjoyed this on first listen and kinda wish I had it higher because it was fun. This is a song I could also see growing on me.
13. Oooof, I was doing SOO good with this rankdown. :'( Very impressed and happy with how my whole Top 11 made it to the Top 13... can not complain about that. But awww darn, I'm really bummed to see "End Of The Road" miss out making the Top 10 as I had this at #3. This is an amazing, beautiful song and such a classic to me. One of my favorites from Boyz II Men, for sure! Nice to see all of the success this song has had, all of which was deserving. But I am really surprised this song has the 3rd highest Standard Deviation.
12. Ahh darn I was so close to a perfect rank with "In The Closet" as I ranked this at #11, lol haha. This is a really fun and enjoyable song from Michael Jackson. This was a song I do and remember quite well. Not one of my very top favorites of this but still a great song!
11. "Come & Talk To Me" was a nice and enjoyable song from Jodeci. I don't really remember this from the past but this is a good song. It didn't stand out too much for me for songs based on first listen but it was good. And a song that could grow on me with more listens. As this was one of my lower ranks at #20, I'm okay with this missing out the Top 10.

My remaining spots left: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 28
Wow 9 of my Top 10 are all remaining. Then that pesky #28 which needs to show up, LMAOO. JK. Although looking back, I feel really bad ranking that song so low as it doesn't deserve it, but ah well. But yeah I've never done so good in a rankdown but I am veryy happy here!

This was going too well to be true... lost my 1, 3 and 4 in the last set of reveals.
I think #2 will be the top 5, at least.

First extra for today was the follow-up to their #1 R&B hit "Tennessee". It topped the rap chart and peaked at #2 on the R&B chart and #8 on the Hot 100. It was also their biggest hit in the UK, where it hit #2. It samples the Bob James song "Tappan Zee" and is an adaptation of the Sly & The Family Stone classic "Everyday People".
People Everyday - Arrested Development
Next, the first single and biggest hit by this group from Buffalo. It peaked at #3 R&B and #4 on the Hot 100. Contains numerous samples.
Live And Learn - Joe Public

Y'all hate Boyz II Men, huh? Wild. Same with one of MJ's best latter-day songs. I hate it here.

Welcome back! We kick off the Top 10 with the song that has the 4th highest SD. Someone will lose their #1 while four will lose a bottom 10, including a #32.

Imagine trying to rob Prince of his coin, smh. They learned that day. I have a soft spot in my heart for this, Everyday People remix, and Mr. Wendel. I saw AD randomly perform at a festival on Jersey Island about 11 years ago. They were solid!

9. Save The Best For Last - Vanessa WilliamsThe third release from The Comfort Zone, "Save The Best For Last" is Vanessa's signature song and biggest hit, topping the R&B, AC, and Hot 100 charts. It received two Grammy nominations for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year, and was named by ASCAP as its Song Of The Year. Apologies to Private Dancer and chanman... Should have put the VW song lower, lol people love female vocals on those gooey ballads. Title track should have been #1 instead of it.

Glad we started out the top 10 on the right foot by getting rid of the only song in it that I didn't like at all. I found nothing enjoyable about "Tennessee" honestly, lol.

7. I Will Always Love You - Whitney HoustonWritten and first recorded by Dolly Parton in 1974, it was Whitney's version that turned it into a global phenomenon. Produced by David Foster for the soundtrack to The Bodyguard, in which she starred opposite Kevin Costner, not only did it top the R&B, AC, and Hot 100 charts in the US, it hit #1 in 24 other countries. The song cleaned up at awards season, winning American Music Awards for Favorite Pop/Rock and Favorite R&B/Soul Single, and Grammys for Record Of The Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and helped The Bodyguard win for Album Of The Year. In addition, it was named Billboard's top pop and R&B single for 1993. It also has the distinction of being the first #1 on Billboard's R&B chart after the switch to Soundscan. And it's been a staple at weddings, despite the fact that it's a breakup song. "I Will Always Love You" hit the charts again after Whitney's death in 2012. Man, I hate Vanessa got out. Yes, I love female vocals on a gooey ballad. That's my soft spot. Vanessa ate that song up!!! There is a reason why it was the 4th biggest hit of that year, #1 for 5 weeks, #1 on airplay for 8 weeks, and 2nd most played song of the year.
Also, I love the En Vogue cover but Aretha did her thing with the original in 76
