I have no idea who thought it would be a good idea to release a single featuring Roddy in 2022 after his colossal bomb last year and horrible verse itself. I like Posty's parts but it's 2022 and the GP is thirsting for different sounds and this feels too generic to be a hit. Would've been a hit in 2019 I guess, but we'll see

AM is super competitive right now with several album bombs and Kendrick doesn't help. If it doesn't appear there at all during this week, then it'd be worrying for him.

I think it's very likely it might. Obviously Kendrick releasing is going to be the biggest thing in rap this year, but Harry might just be the most popular artist in the world at the moment, and I really wouldn't be surprised if he debuted with bigger numbers than Kendrick (though that isn't necessarily likely, either; it depends on how many songs there are on the albums if I'm being honest)

Having listened to the album...it was amazing.

It's the most personal album I've ever heard from any rapper, and this is surprising even for a guy like Kendrick. Every song hit me in the heart. Really worth the 5-year wait.

Could do with less Kodak, tho. Ah, what the hell, his monologue is kinda decent.

Favorite songs from the album: We Cry Together, Crown, Savior, Auntie Diaries, Mother I Sober, Mirror

I think Die Hard is the most "pop" song from the album, and it's good if that's the main song from this album.

Amazing album, 9.5/10.

In other news - Maneskin released a new single "SUPERMODEL".

If they are to ever see crossover success again in the US this would be it. Might be a slow burner on the radio but the song is really good!

It would be like #85 even without Kendrick’s album bomb, and is below songs like No Role Modelz. It’s been 21 hours at this point. Is that really a better start?

Even if it is I still think it’s objectively not a good start for a streaming giant who had the best album openings on streaming after Drake.

It can obviously have longevity and grow a lot after a slow start, but also releasing during all these album bombs and an avalanche of new music wasn’t smart in general and anyone could’ve seen that.

His album is going to amass more streams than Future's album and that album scored 4 simultaneous top 10 debuts, so there's your answer. Will it amass as many streams as Drake's albums (Scorpion/Certified Lover Boy)? Hell no. Only Drake can do that.

I hope it pulls more streams than Tha Carter V did, though (433M). It's kinda sad that no non-Drake album has amassed more streams than that and I'm hoping Kendrick at least breaks the 500M mark.

The new Post Malone single is his best single released so far in this era and it honestly didn't need Roddy Ricch because he does nothing to elevate the song in any way.

For Post's sake, I hope it has some longevity and ends up becoming a hit because he really needs one of those.

I could see "Purple Hearts" being this album's "LOVE.", where radio runs with it after the initial album hype has died down. Would love to see it make the top ten down the road, especially if it gave Summer and Ghostface Killah a top ten hit.

I thought it was released at midnight.. it was released hours before? Wow post is really falling. I’m kinda nervous for his album
