Let's see those numbers for spotify for Renaissance to see how big of an album bomb we are going to be looking at and whether that album bomb, if there is one, is more towards the top than the bottom of the charts. Beyoncé is Apple Music centric iirc, and those streams count more than the ones from Spotify/YouTube. Her Spotify debut won’t be as indicative of her overall performance compared to artists like Dua, Lizzo etc. I think Amazon will do well for her.

Break My Soul's Spotify number was 41.8% for first few days, and next full week 45.8% then 42.1%, latest week was 39.8%.

Is there even a small chance Enemy could survive? I give it a 5% chance, and it's probably the one with the highest chance of surviving out of the 5 i mentioned, though given its airplay losses, that's probably more a testament of how the other 4 are 100% going recurrent this week. Oh. Well, RIP Enemy. I'll miss you.

Wait for You is going to be the most streamed song of the year Yet another reason why WFU deserves to be in the discussion of the biggest song of 2022. It’s not like it got a cheap week at #1, it beat out As It Was, who most people think is the biggest song of the year, when AIW was at its peak. Also, it’s not like WFU was a one-week wonder. We’re more than 10 weeks in, and I don’t think WFU has fallen out of the Top 5 yet.

Wait for You is going to be the most streamed song of the year Maybe. While there is probably enough time between now and the end of the billboard tracking year for it to beat out WTDAB and Super Gremlin, As It Was and First Class both have the advantage of slightly more weeks and higher streaming peaks (which could be enough of a head start to prevent Wait For U from passing them), and I don’t think Heat Waves has had a streaming week below 10 million this tracking year. it’s definitely a contender though.

Cuff It is such an obvious smash, it reminds me a lot of Blow from the self titled album which is one of her best songs imo. This whole album is really really good but Cuff It is definitely my favorite and I really hope it gets a real push

So it's not even really close.

Even RUTH has beaten WFU on streaming for some weeks (due to weighing, but still).

WFU has done very well on streaming, but As It Was peaked on album release with ~405 points, so nah, it had like 310 during WFU week. AIW peaked higher, and has consistently done far more points each week with multiple weeks above 300. WFU only had 1 week above it.

Believe it or not, that was the only week when AIW topped the sales chart. The debut week and album release week (and possibly the week after album release) are the only weeks where AIW had more points than that one. That’s why WFU beating out AIW for #1 that week is arguably the biggest shock of the year. No one saw that coming until the tracking week was at least over.

That's because it had huge AM streams and no one could see how far ahead it was at #1 until HITSDD's chart. Would be good if Apple at least provided pop bars like iTunes if they don't want to show numbers.

Kelly's 10th Fan and I were talking about the callouts thing in the pop radio top 50 thread over in the pop forum; I wouldn't be surprised if it was that account posting the callouts every week that led to them being privatized.

With that being said, yes it would work well on radio.

^Depends on how much radio it can get to compliment the streaming. If it can get a lot of airplay, the streaming remains strong, and there aren’t any big single releases within the next couple months, I can see it using the streaming advantage and enough airplay to beat out a weaker AIW and ADT. If it doesn’t, then we could very well see it get stuck in a similar situation Mi Porto Bonito got in.

Shame that most of the best songs on Renaissance are from track #11 onwards which means they are struggling to reach top 10 on AM as of now.

Beyonce couldn't even overtake Bad Bunny who got 68.3M streams on Thursday:
So her album didn't do crazy numbers worldwide, maybe 40-45M. Probably not massive numbers in US either, even though she was the most streamed artist on US Spotify:
