I know that, but last week "BMS" had the sales off the hype of the album release as well as D2C sales. Is the Madonna remix selling well enough to not only offset those things, but surpass them? Yes, the Queens remix was #1 for most of the week, although it has fallen off quite a bit in the last 24 hours. The stream boost from the Visualizer video should give it the boost needed for a 2nd week at #1. The visualizer has under 3 million views on Youtube. Or is there another, more popular version?

The visualizer that's gonna guarantee BMS' second week at #1 sits at under 1M worldwide plays a day later...

In a close race like this, all these little things add up. Beyoncé knows what she’s doing with all these gimmicks. She isn’t doing it for fun. She’s making sure she scores that 2nd week at #1.

^There's a Madonna remix now. I know that, but last week "BMS" had the sales off the hype of the album release as well as D2C sales. Is the Madonna remix selling well enough to not only offset those things, but surpass them? the Madonna remix was available only on her web store for the first few hours. it didn’t get put on streaming until midnight, so the initial hype probably resulted in a large sales boost.

It's probably going to smash SOUR's record of fastest album to have each track reach 200 mil on Spotify Global. It's already in the 30 most streamed albums ever (non-compilation), for comparison purposes Harry's House isn't even in the top 200.

All of OR's music since ~2019 (maybe even before) has sounded very commercial. We should be thankful that absolutely nothing from their album that came out last year never charted in the US, the whole project down there with Maroon 5's Red Pill Blues in terms of once-respectable-band-turned-commercialcore. they peaked at their debut then gradually got blander WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THE ONEREPUBLIC SLANDER.

Tbh outside of the atrocity Stop And Stare OnenRepublic has one of the most solid sets of hits I've ever seen
Apoligize - good All The Right Moves - amazing Secrets - good Good Life - great Counting Stars - great Love Runs Out - good
I Ain't Worried being their 2nd worst hit to date is more a testament to how consistently good they've been

OneRepublic has always been kinda commercial-core but they've also always been head-and-shoulders above similar bands. Comparing them to Maroon 5 is rude af.

The Encanto soundtrack is outside the top 500 with twice the tracks, and CLB with about the same number of tracks has half the streams in three/four times the amount of time. Even Dangerous, which has ten more songs and is still top 5 on the BB200 is outside of the top 250. The point is, there isn't really going to be a good comparison here.

Isn't it the case that a lot of country gets streamed on Amazon rather than Spotify? It's going to be hard to find good comparables here.

would be crazy if AIW returned to #1 on the Hot 100. I hope the Queens Remix is #1 on the Digital Chart. It's gonna be tough, but still possible. Maybe Madonna will mention it tonight on Fallon?

Speaking of slander, imagine sh**ting on M5 and heralding OneRepublic as this exemplar band of recent times LMAO...
They are both similar bands of similar quality, whom I personally believe are both pretty good at what they do.

I think it makes sense to compare One Republic to Maroon 5... and we'll even add Imagine Dragons on there for being a male pop/rock band led by one individual, all which have achieved high success. But, I think each one is actually quite different in their output (without correlating it to success). I just personally think Ryan is a musical genius that elevates OneRepublic's songs. I'm also a huge ID (waiting for Bones to be a massive hit and the universe is failing me) and M5 fan, so I don't think it's controversial to say they're not all necessarily in the same quality level.

136(DEBUT) Olivia Newton-John - Hopelessly Devoted to You 254,280
Isn't this just based on like half a day? I don't recall if the announcement of her passing was known early in the day. Or is this the day after the announcement. My days are so messed up this week.

Stop and Stare is my favorite by them . Ryan for me is much better as a writer of songs like Already Gone, Halo and Battlefield.
