Since we are on the topic of Nicki, I wonder how well SFG will do on radio? I remember “Anaconda” didn’t really do that well in airplay, peaking mid-range on multiple formats and maybe it went top 10 on Urban. I believe it didn’t peak in the Top 10 on overall airplay. For the hype it caused from the visuals, radio did kind of a disservice to it. Although I understand why it wasn’t that big of a radio hit because it was pretty explicit.

Which brings me here. Is radio going to do the same to this song since it’s explicit and follows the same formula? The last mainstream song I can think of that was this explicit was WAP. I don’t remember where it peaked on all the formats but I also feel like that underperformed on radio despite how much of an event single it was. I can see SFG suffering the same fate. Going top 10 on Rhythmic is likely, but I’d be really surprised if it goes top 10 on Pop.

"WAP" peaked at No. 19 on Billboard's Radio Songs chart and charted for 13 weeks, and "Anaconda" peaked at No. 22 while charting for 8 weeks. similar performances, though I'd say "Anaconda" walked so "WAP" could lightly jog.

I think it will remain in the Top 10 for at least 6 weeks. It’s still growing, the video hasn’t been dropped yet, it gets added to more and more Spotify playlists daily. Hasn’t dipped under 1.1M streams on Spotify US. It’s currently growing on pop and rhythmic radio. It has a nice shot.

Bad Habit remains on top for a 4th week in a row with a small boost of 2%, with a relatively highly lead against Super Freaky Girl. Other songs that had small boosts in the Top 10 were Me Porto Bonito and Tití Me Preguntó which rose 2% and 3% respectively.

Outside of that, You Proof went up 6%, The Kind of Love We Make got a boost of 9%, She Had Me At Heads Carolina climbed up 19% (good week for Country), Dah Dah DahDah continues the momentum up 31%, as did unfortunately Victoria's Secret by 24%, meanwhile Numb is building momentum with an 11% gain, as is SNAP by rising 13%, and Sweetest Pie rebounded 22% thanks to the album dropping.

Well how much more then? Because the #200 song is at 230k streams so the remix must’ve accounted for more than that, yet it doesn’t appear in the top 200. Keep in mind the original version probably took a small hit thanks to the remix version, so the +140k makes sense if the original version let’s say took a -200k hit and the new version received 343k new streams (all this is just me throwing random numbers and not actually accurate). So the +143k looks like it’s the result of combining them to me. And honestly the GP isn’t going to listen to the remix if it doesnt Include a new rapper. The remix is solely for her hardcore fans to stream so the +143k did what it was supposed to do, tilt the points even closer to #1 on the Hot 100.

quickie remixes made just to boost sales numbers don't really have a pressing need to be streamed.

if there was another artist on the remixes then that'd be a different story.

Maybe it’s on the label/artists discretion? For example when Lil Nas X dropped the satin remix for “Call Me By Your Name” did it chart separately or was it combined? I think remixes only appear separate if only a new artist is added on.

No. Other versions of songs (remixes, extended version, other alternate version) have been charted separately before

Also the Satan Remix of CMBYN didn't chart nor was it combined because I don't remember it getting a boost
