Let me make this clear. I'm not saying that Bad Bunny needs radio to be big, I'm just saying that if he gets it, he can have way more success. Like mpb could be a number one contender if radio actually did something with it.

It's important to note that Bad Bunny already has a Hot 100 #1 with I Like It!! (Yes, he shares credit with Cardi and J Balvin, but it's a co-lead credit). And it also needs to be considered that maybe his team tried to promote his songs to pop but that they just didn't take, because of course pop radio is very rigid and non-English language songs will always have an extremely hard time there (which would not be the fault of his team, but rather the rigid radio industry, or perhaps the songs just not testing well with pop audiences). If he were to have another #1, solo or with co-credit, he would most probably have to include at least partial English lyrics to maximize those chances, which he might not want to do now, so as far as his all-Spanish songs from UVST, they've pretty much gone as far as they're likely to go in terms of airplay (with Moscow Mule and Me Porto Bonito already topping the Latin Airplay chart).

I didn't forget about I Like It, I was just saying that he should shoot for more.

But also saying that it's just because it's in Spanish is honestly not the reason he's struggling with airplay. It's his team. Cause I remember hearing Telepetia on the radio five thousand bajillion times a day last year and would have to change it so my ears wouldn't have to live in crisis mode. And yeah that song does have some English lyrics. But then there's this year with Mamiii. So his team needs to fix this issue asap.

MAMIII wasn't huge on pop radio either. It only peaked at #26

I would hope his team discounts the song on itunes. I would love to see an increase in radio airplay and sales. It is a beautiful song deserving of going #1. But I would just be happy to see it reach the top 40 and make a year end list.

I don't have the percentage stats but did ask TOTC comm: no BTS song has spent more than 1 week in the Top 10 of US Spotify since the start of the 2021 while BP has spent 3
