I saw someone on TikTok suggest that all of these vinyls are to make people not be able afford the tour. The tour is going to be huge and has to cover four albums and two Taylor's Version albums. That's A LOT of songs, and most of them are loved by different subsets of the fanbase. So by the time the tour comes around, people (or their parents/guardians) will say they just spent all this money on vinyls and CDs, I can't afford the tour. Maybe that's the case? Idk. Either way, her fans are eating this up, and if I was into vinyl, I would too

Lol people swear Taylor’s holding a gun to her fans heads and forcing them to buy the vinyls. I LOVE Taylor and she’s my favorite artist but I will not be buying any of the vinyls. I will buy the hard copy of the cd on release day at Target and maybe a signed version if she does those. |

A random record site listed Rock under categories but they also listed Pop and Country so it was pretty clear they just didn’t know where to actually categorize it, but Swifties ran with the Rock category.
I don’t think the Pop categorization on iTunes means too much either way.

I think we'll get the new single once the eligibility period for 2023 Grammy Awards end. She would want to sweep all major awards so releasing the lead single and album in the same nomination period makes sense. Possibly, although this doesn't seem to be a concern for her, as almost all of her original studio albums and their lead singles have straddled different Grammy eligibility periods, with the leads being released around August/September and the albums in October/November (the case with Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation). |

She usually drops her tracklists unwillingly after they leak online 2 days before the album is out, so the fact she is giving any information this early is a blessing.
The lead is definitely picked and a video filmed, if we know anything about her, but I tend to agree with the thread that she is waiting til first week in October, to sit out this Grammy cycle/focus on ATW (10m version), if anything.
