Ok a bottom 10 may be a bit too excessive, but I do get if people may not like this.

3. SICKO MODE - Travis ScottBorn in Houston, Jacques Webster II started out as one half of a duo called The Graduates. After releasing their EP on Myspace, he formed another duo called The Classmates. Later going solo, he signed with T.I.'s label Grand Hustle and continued to build a following. He saw great success with the release of his 2018 album Astroworld. The single "Sicko Mode" topped the rap, R&B/Hip Hop, and Hot 100 charts, and received Grammy nominations for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. Samples "Gimme The Loot" by The Notorious B.I.G. and contains an interpolation of "I Wanna Rock" by Uncle Luke. The song features Drake and also had uncredited vocals by Swae Lee and Big Hawk. Yea my 74 probably wins, like I figured all along. Unless a miracle happens but I don’t think so.

Here we go, the final two...for a while it looked like this would be middle of the pack, but the later lists lifted it up to the point that it finished second despite not having any #1s. 2. Bad Girls - M.I.A.Born to Sri Lankan Tamil parents, Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam's early years were greatly impacted by the Sri Lankan Civil War. Her family relocated to London in the 1980s where she would start her career, taking on the name M.I.A. (standing for Missing In Action). Her 2012 single "Bad Girls" was a Top 50 hit in the UK, and in the US peaked at #10 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Songs chart and #40 on the R&B/Hip Hop Digital Songs chart. It is also featured in Grand Theft Auto V. Fun fact: M.I.A. is the first Asian to be nominated for an Oscar and a Grammy in the same year. And now, the #1... 1. Alright - Kendrick LamarStraight outta Compton, Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was named after Eddie Kendricks of The Temptations. He started his career under the name K.Dot, and his first mixtape led to a signing with Top Dawg Entertainment. He later changed his stage name to Kendrick Lamar and formed the supergroup Black Hippy. In 2012 Kendrick signed with Aftermath and Interscope, where he would see his greatest success. His 2015 single "Alright" peaked at #20 on the rap chart and #24 on the R&B/Hip Hop chart. It won Grammys for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song and was nominated for Song Of The Year and Best Music Video. Features uncredited vocals by co-producer Pharrell Williams and is an anthem for the Black Lives Matter movement. Fun fact: as a child Kendrick saw Tupac and Dr. Dre film the music video for "California Love" in his neighborhood. Congrats to BB🌕 for a perfect Top 2! Any other Kendrick Lamar song, probably in my top 30 especially Maad City and Backseat Freestyle possible top 5.
Also a bottom 10 for Bad Girls is way too harsh too but I do get if someone doesn’t like it.
Thanks for hosting again, but yea if it’s not obvious I definitely preferred the 90s 00s results much better. But I did expect this.

I like Megan. I charted one song a year from her on my personal chart from 2020 to 2022. Hopefully she comes back strong after taking this year off--she probably needed this after oversaturation caught up to her by the end of 2022. I never really know what turns Doja is going to make next, and that has about an equal chance of being good or bad on any given day. Similar to Lizzo, she has hits that have grown off me over time; it's happened with "Say So", "Kiss Me More", and "Attention". Luckily, "4 Morant (Better Luck Next Time)" and "Boss Bitch" have held up, and are currently my two favorite DC songs. Rick Ross is likable, but he's often better on features than his own songs. Teflon Don was a pretty good album at the start of the decade, though. Anderson .Paak is not a rapper full-time, he's primarily an R&B singer, and amazing at that. He's also fine at rapping, though. Roddy Ricch--another one-year wonder whose one year was a good year. LiveLoveA$AP is one of the best albums/mixtapes of the 2010s. Rocky's never lost his touch entirely after that, but he hasn't reached that standard again yet. Jay Rock is so annoying, because he has two excellent songs 7 years apart in this and "King's Dead" but everything between and after them has been a heap of mess. He's also a bit of a conspiracy nut, and more in the harmful way than the forgivable way. Travis Scott--also very influential, has 3 projects I love (Days Before Rodeo, Rodeo, Utopia) and plenty of good stuff in between too. Kind of an idiot, though. M.I.A--crazy 10-year run from 2004-2013. After that? Forget about it. Kendrick Lamar--I mean, what can I say? One of the most important and consistent artists, not just in rap but overall, of the last 12 years.

6. The Box - Roddy Ricch: LMAO Dangg, me pointing out the mistake in the rankings made me lose my 2nd favorite song of this Top 6 and making it miss the Top 5, omg. I fail for that, lmao. Anywho, this is my #25 and I've always really liked this song. Def my favorite from Roddy Ricch and up there as amongst my favorite 2020 rap songs. But woww, that's amazing to see this song not having any Bottom 50 rankings amongst us rankers. :o I wonder how many songs was able to pull that off. 5. F**kin' Problems - A$AP Rocky: OMGG LOL Lucy ranking this at #95. I kinda stan it. This was my #50 so the lowest ranked song of mine of this Top 6, so I'm good with this showing up now and not winning, at least. It's a cool song and I do enjoy the chorus. 4. Hood Gone Love It - Jay Rock feat. Kendrick Lamar: I was relooking over my notes and saw that this was my #48, not #58. And wow noticing that change brought this song up three spots to #4. Dangg that's impressive. :o This is another one of the many songs that was new to me and I wasn't familiar with but I liked what I heard. One of the better new discoveries for me on this rankdown. 3. SICKO MODE - Travis Scott: Ooh ughh, of the Top 6 songs remaining, I was pulling for this to win as this is my #15. :( Sad it couldn't pull out the win. But yeah I love this song and it's such a jam! My favorite song from Travis Scott... and pleased it was able to make it this far. So I think it's between my #34 vs. #45, so I'm feeling kinda mehh about this. But oh well. 2. Bad Girls - M.I.A.: This is a really cool and enjoyable song from M.I.A. Looking at my ranking of #45, I feel like I may have underranked this a bit and maybe it should be been higher? But oh well, it's still ranked very highly here. 1. Alright - Kendrick Lamar: Ooooh not surprised with a Kendrick win here. I do really like this song and enough so to rank it at #34. Yeah Kendrick is a standout rapper of the 2010s/2020s, but this isn't one of my very top favorites from him. I would have songs like "Swimming Pools (Drank)," "i," "HUMBLE.," "Love" and "All the Stars" much higher. But still this is a really good song and a good winner. I'm sad I got no perfect rankings but it happens. Thanks for hosting this game, Soulsista! You've done such a wonderful job with this rankdown as you always do!

I'm late. I'm glad to see Missy in the Top 20. If I'm not mistaken, Missy had planned to do a project with The Neptunes after "WTF" dropped. It would've been nice of them to do an EP or something. The "Savage" remix with Beyonce was a moment. That song along with "Say So" and "The Box" kept me entertained during the pandemic. All this time I thought "F**kin Problems" sampled Aaliyah's "Come Over". The vocal sample sounded like it came from Tank's bridge. Honestly, I didn't expect Kendrick and M.I.A. to grab the Top 2 spots. Thanks for hosting Soulsista.

Finally, I think I got zero perfect rankings, LOL. Also, these results were kinda goofy in general, but whatever. I'm just glad that my girl M.I.A. and Fucking Problems, one of the best rap songs of the last decade, made it so far! Thanks again, Soulsista!

Really happy with these results! I kinda figured Alright would win and it’s so deserving as it’s an amazing and 2010s defining song. Loved like all of this top 10 so I’m content!
Thanks for hosting :)
