So, you literally waited 4 years to write this? Can we leave this mess on the first page pls. What are you implying? Are you trying to say that Taylor Swift can actually sing? LMAO Good on you for enjoying her mediocrity. Oh wow, we love a new poster that breaks out of the box bold af. Not new! I have been on this forum for years.

The way Taylor gets under people's skin is reaaaaally something lmfao She doesn't get under anyone's skin. Unless you're deaf. I remember watching her performance at the grammy's in 2010 and being shocked by how terrible she was. She is so out of tune that you don't know whether to laugh or stab yourself in the eye. I have friends that jumped on the bandwagon and went to see her show because that was the "thing" to do this summer. Most of them left early and didn't even bother staying for the last five songs. The funny thing is that people used to give Madonna all kinds of criticism for not being a good singer. Compared to Taylor Swift, Madonna actually sounds like a great singer. So you're source of reference is one performance she did 13 years ago? You're spectacular.

LMAO Yes, she's a good singer and performer, GREAT songwriter and you can clearly see how much she cares about her art and fans. And I'm not even a huge fan of her music, but I can be objective and appreciate her dedication and persistence.

I respect your opinion, but I think there's a distinctive difference between not liking someone's music and not hearing that someone can't sing in tune. Taylor Swift can't sing. It's a fact. It doesn't take a music expert to hear it. On top of that, her songs are soooo average. For instance, I don't particularly listen to The Weeknd except for a few songs, but I am the first to admit that he is a very talented singer and performer. That's the difference!

These posts are so blatantly wildly off topic and incendiary, a mod really should be intervening here.
Edit: I should have used the report post function rather than making this post — no offense was meant to the mods!

Quickly lmao “Politely replied” is a wild way to describe an entire essay but hey you do you king

Casual Taylor fan here, and I'll say that she has really improved her singing over the past 5 years or so. She's never going to be an Aretha or something, but she's certainly widened the range and strength of her voice, as well as her ability to convey emotion. I'm wondering if you've even listened to her vocals from the past few years. Anyway I like "bad idea right?" a lot. It's my favorite Olivia single so far except for "Deja Vu." I guess I like her second singles best.

These posts are so blatantly wildly off topic and incendiary, a mod really should be intervening here. Two moderators have already stepped in, so there's a contradiction with your 'a mod really should be intervening here' post because this was already done. Staff is handling this appropriately, so we would like to reiterate to stay on topic, please. Thanks!

I literally cannot conceive of this. With how damn hard it is to get tickets and how expensive they are, it's not something people can just casually do to "jump on the bandwagon" or because it's "the thing to do this summer," and that would be a crying shame if they were to leave early, when so many other people would've killed for those tickets and stayed for the whole show.

I know BS has been on the cusp of re-entering for a few weeks, but...
The irony that BS OG + Style OG may re-enter the H100 because TS is trying to devalue the OGs with the release of '1989 TV' is a mindbending.

All of the major international stars have come from outside the US in recent years - Adele, Ed Sheeran, Bad Bunny, Dua Lipa, Maneskin etc. Billie Eilish had a huge international breakthrough, but her follow-up already saw a decline in popularity. Your post is full of bullshit as everyone has noticed here, but this sentence just stands out. You just listed a bunch of British artists, a country that has always provided superstars, and then added Bad Bunny (he is from the United States) and ¿Maneskin?, lmao. And Adele and Ed Sheeran who debuted more than 10 years ago. This post should be printed and framed.

Taylor may not be the greatest vocalist ever but to claim she has no talent at all is quite a take lol. What she lacks in singing chops she all but makes up for with her writing, melodies & being an all around great entertainer. Music is not all about the voice, and even then as it has been said Taylor has massively improved her singing over the years and is particularly known for a great lower register (singing is not just all about belting and high notes). It's really not hard to see why she is so big

Currently not on streaming yet, but this song is currently outselling one of BTS member's solo song on iTunes. (Edit: It went to #1 at 11am EST) lip predictions just posted that they think it’s now a contender for number 1 next week and that it will clear 50K sales today alone ! Wowza

I'm kinda dissapointed with the new Olivia song. Unlike Good 4 U which sounded clean and well-structured, this new song sounds messy and kind of all over the place. Hope it grows on me, and that Olivia can mantain her chart-success though.

I am not a Taylor Swift fan -- I do love me some Blank Space though. (I just heard Karma for the first time like two weeks ago and lol it's not great). But anyway, Taylor Swift is an AMAZING performer. She knows how to put on a show, and more importantly, she knows what show her fans want her to put on. The interaction and connectivity she has with her audience is incomparable. She and her team have also known how to amazingly market herself, use the easter egg things, and build a "cult-like" following that will do anything and everything for her. Whether good or bad, that's how the music business works and she's mastered it. It's not about who has the best of worst voice (hell, we've had people like 6ix9ine have a #1 song and amazing singers miss out on Top 20 hits).

as long as Drake isnt releasing next week I'm perfectly fine with Fast Car taking this week and Cruel Summer taking the next one. At the very least it would balance out the Country #1s this year between the good (Fast Car), the meh (Last Night), and the "god why" (Small Town)
also if you think that "jumping on the bandwagon" to see a concert is limited to only Taylor Swift concerts and somehow your anecdote is a strike against Taylor and her genuine popularity I don't know what to tell you. it's always a factor for every single decently big artist regardless if its Taylor, Beyoncé, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, etc. hell, I would argue that to some degree artists rely on/expects it to help fill demands. in the end getting a ticket and leaving before the end is still a ticket bought, and the only thing they had done is make countless Swifties incensed.

Right? Resale tickets for Eras Tour cost upwards of thousands of dollars. No chance anyone is just going because it's the "thing" to do this summer, unless they're uber-wealthy. Either you're a fan who got presale tickets or you're shelling out your savings on resale tickets.

I see my post is driving all of the Swift fans nuts to the point that they are all coming up with their own bizarre theories. The ten friends I was referring to flew on a private jet from Cleveland to Chicago to go to the show. I don't think I need to explain how they bought their tickets. And yes, they left early because they were disappointed.
