For the second time in a month, Zach Bryan takes the best release of the week!! Also loving the new Shakira / Fuerza Regida song -- and the fact it's another diss at Pique's dumbass! I absolutely agree that Shakira's new song El Jefe is fire. I would love to see her get another #1 hit. Imo, it's her strongest new song this year. |

Doja's album is amazing, but I don't see her having a Planet Her type run with this. Maybe one or two hits with this tops IMO. Hope I'm wrong though.

Scarlet is a lot more consistent than Planet Her but it's missing the pop hits. It seems like this was the best for her career. A solid album showing her artistry. I've had it on repeat all day and still can't make my mind up on it lol

Doja's album is amazing, but I don't see her having a Planet Her type run with this. Maybe one or two hits with this tops IMO. Hope I'm wrong though. I think you're right, I don't see a lot of late-album cycle hit potential here. so I'm really hoping Agora Hills is another Top 5 hit for her. I could see one of the more mid tempo R&B songs building up later with radio airplay leading the way, possibly for a Top 20 or Top 10 peak. |

I hope the blink-182 new single takes off! Seems many calling it their best in years
edit - oh, wow, it is #1 on itunes. I know that doesn't mean a lot nowadays but still nice to see that it should at least hopefully make the hot 100
edit 2 - seems the video on their channel has nearly 3 million views in 24 hrs. not bad for a veteran rock band at this point lol

I think Agora Hills is probably another top 10 for Doja and she moves quickly to another era after that. Visually four of the tracks already have videos anyways.
And one could read the Agora Hills video as the end of the Scarlet persona on her videos since she technically took a shower and isn't bloody anymore - that could just be me accustomed to Taylor Swift never doing something like that without meaning; maybe Doja just wanted an excuse to use the visual of the blood going down the drain.

What is Doja's label doing? Two versions of Scarlett - 15 track and 17 track priced exactly the same - at #6 and #10. Betting 15 track was the one most pre-ordered. Fools.

Man, other places in the world have bangers such as Prada and It Goes Like(Na Na Na) in their top ten. I wish America wasnβt so allergic to European dance songs. We are missing out.

Before Attention and even a little while after it underperformed, I would've said Doja would do at least more than 100K which is around what Planet Her did but man seeing these numbers, if PTTR did not catch on Scarlet would come nowhere to making 100K |

dremolus - solarpunk I mean, I tried speaking about the concerns I had about the commercial performance of Scarlet and was basically dismissed lol. It was very telling that none of the promo singles caught on even in the slightest and to be honest, the same thing could have easily happened to PTTR, if not for TikTok latching on the song and that translating to real streaming support for the song. I distinctly remember it was stuck under 1M daily US Spotify streams and in the bottom half of the top 20 on US Apple Music until 11 days after its release when massive streaming gains started happening. I also don't see Agora Hills becoming a massive hit (especially not without a similar surge in streaming support after going viral on TikTok), even though it's really the only other song on the album I could see having a chance of becoming a hit because it has been received really well and is getting pushed as the next single. Perhaps it manages a decent top 20/top 10 peak eventually. I'm curious to see what the Spotify debut numbers are but I could definitely see her pushing singles from a new forthcoming album as early as next year because I don't see the singles off this album sticking nearly as long as the singles off Hot Pink and Planet Her did.

It's so weird someone who's as colorful and charismatic as Doja and who's had hit after hit somehow also doesn't connect when it comes to her album releases. I guess now with two albums underperforming, it's just even more clear she's a singles act |
