Ever since βScorpionβ combined with his crazy run broke all those goddamn records in 2018, his primary goal now is to break chart records. And the quality of each album he releases is getting worse just because of that.

Didnβt this guy say he was taking a break from music? Ugh Iβm a big Drake fun I wish he waited and let Rich Baby Daddy become a well deserved hit Itβs surprising to me that he would do this considering he almost treated FATD like a proper traditional album rollout and this is the first time since Scorpion that heβs done this and not drop the album all at once with no songs released before. This is even more odd as he released the First Person Shooter MV yesterday and Rich Baby Daddy is growing more as a single but I guess things never change.

Lol, it's not like FATD is falling down the charts. The singles aren't either. Natural interests in the SH series will be there.

My guess is Drake just wants to hype up his just announced It's All a Blur tour, even though touring has not been his strength. Once he's on tour, hopefully, we won't have to worry about him releasing anything ...

This song was getting carried by radio cuz streams were decreasing while it was on the chart.

I honestly can't wait until Drake eventually bores his core audience and starts flopping so he may have to make a creative effort again.
No personal shade to his fans, I just think he has served nothing but mediocre stuff since Scorpion.
Every album before that has some great gems and I wish he gave us a few more.

It surprises me that some of the biggest artists don't do this strategy more often... could you imagine if Drake/Taylor/Morgan/whoever released like one radio ready hit song a month for like 11 months straight and then in December dropped another, with an "Album" or a few more songs. like 11 #1 hit singles plus 1 for december and then tack on a few more songs.
I think that if some of these artists did that they probably would get a #1 each month upon debut. It just surprises me that someone has not tried to "Game" the system like that. I feel like this year if Taylor released an A caliber (or probably anything LOL) song each month it could have hit #1 all year long especially with how low points are

Like having singles from One Thing At A Time sent to radio every couple months. Heres the list: βYou Proofβ - July 18th, 2022 βThought You Should Knowβ - November 7th, 2022 βLast Nightβ - February 6th, 2023 Album released March 3rd, 2023 βOne Thing At A Timeβ - March 13th, 2023 βEverything I Loveβ - βJune 26th, 2023 βThinkinβ Bout Meβ - September 7th, 2023 βMan Made A Barβ - November 13th, 2023

Jackβs streaming gains throughout the week are nuts (thank you tiktok). At this rate I think he snatches it from Taylor. Let me go give CS a few streams so she gets a 4th week.

It's very hilarious, but predictable seeing people who aren't Drake fans and who have never cared for his music in general, complaining about him releasing too much music like they're being forced to tune in to what he does or something. What really has them bothered is the impact his music has on the charts and how much they really don't like that.

But CLB, HN, HL are definitely bottom Top 5 of his entire discography.

Well..he is pretty good at pumping out volume on his song assembly line
Drake Announces Surprise βScary Hours 3' EP Drop, Which He Recorded This Week Β© Provided by Billboard
Drake is closing out 2023 with one more drop. The 6 God announced on Wednesday night (Nov. 15) that he will issue the threequel Scary Hours 3 EP on Friday (Nov. 17) via a moody video filmed at Toronto's Roy Thomson Hall.
"I'll say this to you I'm not⦠I feel no need to appease anybody. I feel so confident about the body of work I just dropped that I know I can go and disappear for whatever⦠six months, a year⦠two years," Drake says in a hushed voiceover in the visual that begins with a camera hanging from a distance over a car driving through the streets of the MC's Canadian hometown.
"Though I'm not into the lengthy, super-lengthy disappearances just for the sake of mystery," he chuckles as the lens focuses in on the arena at night and Drake walking through its empty concourses by himself before getting handed a glass of red wine by a valet. "You know, ultimately it's coming to me in a way that I haven't experienced since [2015's] If You're Reading This [It's Too Late] where it's just kind of like I feel like I'm on drugs."
As he makes his way into the darkened arena, he continues, "I feel like I'm in that mental state without doing anything. Who am I to fight it?" He then shares some facts, saying the new songs were written in the past five days and that he did not have "one bar written" for the follow-up to 2021's Scary Hours 2 EP when he released his most recent album, For All the Dogs, a month ago. "It's not like I'm picking up from some unfinished sβt. You know, this is just happening on its own. And who am I to fight it?"
The short video ends with Drake taking a seat as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, led by TSO music director Gustavo Gimeno, serenade him with the overture from Verdi's La forza del destino and a white-gloved attendant holds an invitation featuring the album title and the names Noel Cadastre (Drake's engineer), Aubrey Graham (the rapper's given name) and Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns forward).
The news comes after Drake released the "First Person Shooter" video with J. Cole on Wednesday, just days after announcing his 2024 It's All a Blur Tour - Big As the What? tour with Cole.
