thegreatdivine is like Beetlejuice where if three bad things are said about Drake, she shows up with receipts to DRAG YOUR ASSES Speaking of Didnβt Drake postpone his album for a desired chart position? No. The person in charge of mixing/mastering the album got COVID while finishing the album. That's why it was delayed. Not everyone is as obsessed about chart placements as Taylor. Why would Drake lie about his friend (who has MS) having COVID? Drake drops whenever he wants to. The problem is some of you (and I don't mean YOU in particular) are desperate to believe Drake operates the way a typical pop girlie does when he never has. There are several instances spread across Drake's career where he could have gotten a #1 album or a #1 single or gotten a hit record if he only played the game and pushed for it but he never did. He keeps showing that he doesn't care about charts nearly as much as y'all seem to think and yet people fail to see that. All that man does is drop music and go about his way. It's a running complaint amongst Drake fans how little he cares about pushing/promoting his music. Drake works on ALL his projects till the last minute, whether that means he's still writing/recording till the last minute or its still being mixed/mastered till the last minute. Him announcing a release date in no way means the album is already set to go. That's what you don't seem to understand. Honestly, Nevermind, CLB, Scorpion, DLDT were all being worked on in some capacity till the last minute. Her Loss was sent to DSPs less than 12 hours before it dropped because it was still being mixed/mastered. I don't know what else to tell you but you can believe he pushed his album back to duck Taylor if that works better for you. but Drake just released a new song ("Red Button") with the lyrics I had to wait over a year to clap back but now we have the truth

It's very hilarious, but predictable seeing people who aren't Drake fans and who have never cared for his music in general, complaining about him releasing too much music like they're being forced to tune in to what he does or something. What really has them bothered is the impact his music has on the charts and how much they really don't like that. Sure, but this is true for more than Drake. It happens with Taylor Swift, BTS, holiday music, etc. In a general sense it's of course natural that people won't mind it happening when it's someone they like and then be bothered when it's not a fave. I look more at the specific statements and logic used. If someone's just honest and its like, "Hey I dislike this in general but when it's my fave I can't help but feel different" then I respect the honesty. I'm also interested to know if some of the same people who complain about the holiday takeover now complain about Drake, because if nothing else Drake's release will help slow the holiday takeover a bit.

Itβs not about Drake, itβs about the fact that ms. Divine here and others in different forums typed up research papers trying to say otherwise, when everyone with a clear and unbiased mind knows it is so.

Why is this happening? It seems like all of this started when they eliminated single sales off of artist websites. it's cus billboard nerfed radio by 20% last November after switching to a new format that picks up radio airplay 20% more. so cruel summer really only has around 50M radio if using the old format. t swift is just stingy and didnt have a strong deal over at pop radio. you could check, she has all the power slots unpurchased, she just makes up the difference by being a darling over at HAC and AC. therefore 195 points right now is about the same as 215 last year, which about was how much AIW was getting during its last few #1s runs. So in actuality, this year has been a stronger hot100 year than the last, given that Last Night, flowers and anti hero's 3rd week at 550 points really boosted the average points that a #1 has more than the hits from 2022. (305ish points vs 295ish points).
