Whew chileee...imagine getting Queens Brandy and Monica and making them sound like THAT? How quickly was this slapped together? Also, WTAF is going on with that bridge or whatever it is. Chaotic, messy...nahhh. Remixes are not for everyone and, outside of 34+35, Ari is kinda proving they are not for her.

Quite the opposite of what I'm seeing elsewhere. Lots of people praising the performance of both as well as the bridge. Complete opposite reaction of the "yes, and?" remix.

My opinion - this sounds a lot more "fuller" (if that makes sense) than the original. I like that it is a little longer too.

I was gonna say, this is one of the least offensive collab remixes I've heard in a while. The original didn't really do anything for me, but I think this remix is great.

Maybe it's because I was only playing it from YouTube on my TV but a) it wasn't available on Apple Music and b) my TV speakers are really solid. Brandy especially sounded muffled and borderline unintelligible and, as a Day 1 Monica fan, I thought she didn't sound that great. Plus, that ending was just a mess. I did like the cute throwback to the iconic Brandy x Monica song, but I actually prefer the album version over this one.

SLIGHTLY better now that it's on Apple Music, but I still wanna know who Brandy and Monica's vocal producers were on this song to have them sounding like that. It sounds like Brandy carried over her vocal producer from B7 and Monica sounds like she had a cold that day or recorded from bed. Anyway, I'm guessing Ari is going to release the Supernatural remix with Troye next, since it's already ready?

maybe it's your ears? I sort of know what you're talking about with Brandy's opening vocals.
It's obvious why this happens though--it's because they weren't in a studio together to make this happen, so they had to mix audio recorded in different settings.

That's exactly how I feel! the original song is really lackluster and now it feels much better! I got chills towards the end.
One thing I was expecting but didn't get was the "But mine, not yours" part, but oh well!

I like the remix a lot, but the first couple of listens I thought both Brandy and Monica sounded different. If I heard it without knowing who was doing the remix with Ari I would have struggled to guess who they were??
After a few listens I can completely tell who each artist is.
Personally I don’t hear any messy parts and I think the bridge is kind of fire…?
I wish they incorporated the original more, but I still really like it.
I was also a fan of Ariana’s original version as well.

Glad to see they're trying with Rhythmic and Urban with this one, there is a lot of potential. Ariana's last Urban charter I think was "Rule The World" with 2 Chainz which peaked at #14. As a lead her last song to chart there was "7 rings" which peaked at #43, which I think was also boosted by the remix with 2 Chainz.

Crossing my fingers this happens. Considering that of all the main pop girls, she’s always been the most R&B leaning (RnBiana anyone?), it’s always bothered me that they haven’t done the “seed work” to convince Urban stations to play here at least sometimes. I would argute that say, most Muni Long listeners also listen to Ari. Before this, there was Safely Net, Off the Table, POV, REM, Let Me Love You, all the way to Baby I and Only 1. They have no problem playing Robin Thicke but not Ariana, even after she was already big and Patti Labelle herself acknowledged what a “little white black girl” she is? Missed opportunities, but hopefully this’ll widen the crack a little.
