Oooh. I really like that little snippet. The vibe sounds nice, like 90's pop with a little R&B. Watch it sound nothing like that though, in the end. Also, the way her site is set up is clever!

I don't consider this to be 'such a loser take on Britney's part' to do that and it was a misunderstanding since the very beginning, hence the reason why she deleted her previous post on X, although the 'wasn't me on my phone' part seems to be a lie of course. I get that the music video is about Halsey's personal life dealing with the fame and her diagnosis with T-cell lymphoma and lupus, but there are parts (or references?) that could be about Britney as well and the latter thought that the former was mocking her when she wasn't. For instance, Britney may have confused the paparazzi scenes with her own ones and how they kept following 24/7 before her meltdown (and how they're still doing nowadays), while she might have thought that the syringe part was when there were a lot of rumours that she was on drugs when it wasn't the case and it didn't help that Halsey was with ther shaved hair due to her own health issues as mentioned before. That said, as much as I love Britney, I just want to think that she's still in a process of healing all the bad things she had to suffer all of these years through her conservatorship and she associated the things that Halsey has/had to deal with her own ones. This is the reason why Britney mentioned about her own health issues in her now-deleted post before someone else explained to her that there wasn't any intention from Halsey to disrespect her in any way. |

It’s cute but the video hits harder than the song for me. I agree that something a bit more instant would’ve served better for an album launch but kudos to her for such transparency. Does this sample "You Gotta Be" by Des'ree? Thought it sounded somewhat familiar. I also get slight "Dreams" by Gabrielle for some reason. This sounds really nice.
