I think the story for Timeless will be seeing how well it holds on streaming throughout the weekend, at least. All Red also reached #1 on US Apple Music and US Spotify, only to crash hard on both platforms as the tracking week went on, so while a huge start on streaming is to be expected, how the song holds throughout the tracking week will be the real reflection of how the GP feels about it. I think it’s because All Red was a song that a lot of people hyped up at first because it was Carti’s first official drop ever since Whole Lotta Red nearly 4 years ago. When they found out that he literally sounded like a Future clone on the track, instead of all the unique voices he has been doing on unofficial releases and on his feature run throughout the year, that’s what caused it to crash pretty hard. Timeless is unpredictable, as i said in a previous post it’s the best move for both artists but then again it’s up to the GP on how they feel about it. Abel is back to his Heartless/Party Monster/Low Life sound which will attract hip hop fans to listen, and Carti is trying different voices while also being praised for the verse. All are good signs for now, but it’s all up to how it performs this week.

I know Gaga’s new album is just a soundtrack for a movie but the fact that Bruno has 6 songs charting on global Spotify while gaga as none except for the collab is very telling… I’m really interested to see her numbers for the new song dropping this October..

Wait, her covers of songs from old Hollywood musicals, Frank Sinatra, and Charlie Chaplin aren’t charting on Spotify?!? Career over. Fraud. Payola.

Timeless isn’t my favorite type of weeknd song, but it definitely sounds like a hit. Worlds apart from the forgettable-ness of DITF. Kinda gives me Party Monster vibes.

Timeless is precisely the sort of name recognition fueled song that demands caution with predictions. Yeah amazing debut but let's see the holds. All Red had the worst legs we've seen in a while, even worse than some of Taylor's frontloaded leads.
But great start for sure.

They never said jazz covers, they said musicals. And "The Joker" is a cover from a musical from the 1960's, lol. As for the other song, why would some unpromoted ballad from what's largely a covers album from an artist that doesn't typically stream well do anything?
This album literally appeals to no one, lol. I'm sure her original material will stream better. But it will probably also stream unremarkably, because that's not the type of artist she is.

I have faith in Happy Mistake - it can become a viral hit of a sort and get traction on streaming services (currently charting on Apple Music in 39 countries). It's not going to get any airplay though, that's for sure.

didn't expect great numbers for Gaga's soundtrack, but I thought the focus track will at least chart in the #100-200 area on Spotify. Also, I expected great US numbers for Timeless, but those global streams are INSANE - Abel's biggest, and it debuted with 11.2M unfiltered streams.

Hoping for BOAF still at least climbing to #2 eventually. The mv was a great chance for the #1 push, but then she dropped that dud on us. It’s so frustrating to see so many incredible songs in the top 10 that seem like they could get to #2 in coming weeks with the right luck, but would still be blocked by ABS. Ugh.
On an aside, without ABS, would IHSH be getting close to the all-time weeks at #1 record? Would be like 17ish now?

Can anyone tell me why Lose Control is still getting airplay and streams for several months? What is so special about that song? It’s just pure radio filler.

Wait, her covers of songs from old Hollywood musicals, Frank Sinatra, and Charlie Chaplin aren’t charting on Spotify?!? Career over. Fraud. Payola. Bruno doesn't have an album out at all, so the songs by him that were referenced must be older songs. I took the post by rideordie to be saying the duet seemed to raise interest in his catalog, but not necessarily Gaga's catalog (or her new music, even if it's a valid point that it's not the kind of music to get big streams).

Even if streams continue to crash throughout the week, I think Weeknd & Carti are still gonna debut Top 5 at least, sales should push it over the top. Shaboozey's radio is what's really hard to catch up to unfortunately, both Timeless and Die With A Smile could have great streams (the latter has been streaming very well for weeks now) but can't compete with A Bar Song's radio.

Now hes coming for Lil nas x? This will be week 12. He would need 7 more which is unlikely.
It will have a major hurdle in week 15 when Morgan Wallen releases his next big single. I think weeks 12-14 are a lock but we will see what happens by week 15. Probably will start slipping overall in points as well and Morgan should open very strong
He will probably have a radio deal, music video, CD single sales, etc. They will go all out for this

Next week will be 13. So it would get 15 and could return to #1 if Morgan knocks him out and nothing else comes around. I agree 19 will be tough especially as we head into the holidays

Next week Hurry Up Tomorrow will equal Dawn FM's Top 20 hits I did not realize Dawn FM underperformed to such a ridiculous extent. I heard “Take My Breath”, “Sacrifice” and “Out of Time” played so much at my work that I figured they were pretty successful, I didn’t know only two made it to the top 20.

"Take My Breath" only reached #6 but had decent longevity (20 weeks, Top 10 on pop radio, made the YE chart), "Sacrifice" debuted at #11 during album release week and then cratered, meanwhile "Out of Time" debuted at #32 during album release week and then I don't think made it further than #95 as a single.
