Isn't the vinyls for Die With A Smile going to be released this Friday? So this would increase sales for the song. This should be the push needed to get it to #1 for at least a week.

Morgan song= no promotion, no music video (for now), no playlist on Spotify, no tv performances. Bruno mars = 2 big featuring with a lot of promotion, music video and playlist. And spotify is not the only streaming platform. In november a new single is coming (a new version of old song "neon moon" with Brooks & Dunn and Morgan w. ).

Male-female duets are back and the sooner this is noticed the more flooded will the charts become. No other way to explain Bruno this year or Abel's success with the Ariana duets

if APT continues to grow (and love somebody continues to strink) at this rate, whats the chances it surprasses love somebody for #1? Is the radio + amazon music gap too much?

In november a new single is coming (a new version of old song "neon moon" with Brooks & Dunn and Morgan w. ). Say it ain't so! "Neon Moon" is one of the great country songs of all-time. Morgan Walgreens does not sing well enough to tackle that classic, especially not with Ronnie Dunn singing on it too my god. This is OOC!

Does it look like Shaboozey - A Bar Song (Tipsy) will lose its grip this upcoming week on #1? I do like A Bar Song but hope someone else gets a shot at #1!

"Love Somebody" is still #1 on AM, Amazon, and iTunes. It's #3 on Spotify and 10 on youtube. While "APT" is #1 on Spotify, it's a small margin. Her widest gap is probably with Youtube. However, with "APT" being 68 on AM, for example, and having 6 times less radio audience, it wont' be close.

I do like A Bar Song but hope someone else gets a shot at #1! the early predictions said that Morgan wallen would be #1. Gaga has a small chance next week, if not, Bar song could return back to the top. Unless morgans team will push more ? I don't think a video is released? also depends if Gaga has a video? and if it will be viral. If it is a Halloween themed video it could get some extra attention. I don't think she will debut at 1 but if things align I could see something possible happening.

No other way to explain Bruno this year or Abel's success with the Ariana duets I mean, there’s plenty of way to explain The Weeknd/Ariana duets’ success, like the fact that they have a long history of successful duets with each other…

Too Sweet, Lose Control, Beautiful Things and Not Like Us should all be out of the top 10 on radio airplay by now. It is getting ridiculous. These are songs that were released early Spring.

Cmiiw wasn’t OTG released before billboard changed its rules? We will have to wait and see how she does when she releases her own solo single this time. But it’s surprising Lalisa couldn’t chart higher than OTG when both were released the same year. Rose’s fans might be more invested in her musically than Lisa’s fans? Or was Lalisa released during a time when the charts were more competitive like an album bomb happening during that time? Always thought Lisa had more US fans than Rose.

In my opinion, I feel like they were held back by YG towards their full potential, which explains the lack of mainstream Hot 100 chart success, even on their prior solo hits. As a group, their highest peaking song ("Ice Cream") didn't even get atleast 10 weeks and a peak inside Top 10. Solo hit-wise, JENNIE managed to achieve 20 weeks and a #51 peak with "One of the Girls". LISA did manage to get her highest peak this year with "Rockstar", the catch was it peaked at #70...just like "On the Ground".

I wouldn't call OOTG Jennie's solo though since it's a collaboration with The Weeknd. Do you think Rose can have a higher chart peak this time? She's got a great momentum from APT. Helps that Atlantic seems to be supporting her well compared to the other two labels. I see their staff posting a lot of supportive messages for Rose!

I think "APT" will debut anywhere from #4 to #7 on the Hot 100 as now. Although I think estimate could go higher by the end of the week.

So is it possibly a four-way race this week between Love Somebody, APT, A Bar Song, and DWAS? If DWAS somehow takes it, that means Gaga has a chance to potentially score two consecutive #1s. That would do wonders for her career at this point and might even make people forget about the Joker fiasco.

Beating both Love Somebody and APT a year after its release makes no logical sense.

Morgan would have the lead over APT with airplay and he is still out streaming in most places. A Bar song is slipping so I think it is for sure out. Early predictions showed a big gap.

Beating both Love Somebody and APT a year after its release makes no logical sense. "Lose Control" was #11 on the latest Streaming Songs chart (1 spot above "Please Please Please"), and was #10 the week before, so the blame can't solely be placed on radio. People are still choosing to listen to the song. artistry
