Didnt All 4 U debut at *12 at R&R Pop? No. It debuted at #26. "Give Me Just One Night" debuted at #25 and "She Bangs" debuted at #50, though it jumped all the way to #23 the next week.

I'm predicting a DAD-like run - goes Top 10, but doesn't last long enough to go recurrent.
: #7.
This is off to something of a DAD-like start, with a 2000+ bullet so quickly. Granted, that didn't have a debut in the 20s.

Britney's gained 200 spins today, that's down from the 400 spins she was gaining for the last few days. I am already seeing some slowing down, even though her gains are in the +2000's! I predict that Britney will lose her bullet two sundays from now.

That's 2800 spins per week! :o Even at 200 spins per day that's 1400 a week.

Didn't "Fighter" have a top 25 debut? Or was that just in the top 40?

Britney's gained 200 spins today, that's down from the 400 spins she was gaining for the last few days. Also, keep in mind that Mediabase updated their data 5 hours later than expected/normal yesterday morning. That partly contributed to the bigger than usual gains between Thursday morning and Friday morning (given an extra 5 hours to count additional airplay). If you do the math, "MATM" gained from 2168 spins to 2314 spins within a span of only 19 hours, instead of 24 hours. I think tomorrow morning's update will give us a better idea as to what's really going on with the song.

Yep, "Fighter" was the only top 25 debut this year, Britney will probably do it too! It's cool that Britney and Christina will share a record this year!

I don't know how well this will do... I'm kind of torn btwn whether i like it or not. There's just something odd about the song that doesn't quite make it a hit. It's more of a "hit or miss" situation.
Perhaps, it's the guest appearance by Madonna. I don't know. But anyway...
Prediction: #11

So does anyone know what the highest debut on the pop chart (top 50) was this year? Is Britney going to break that?

So does anyone know what the highest debut on the pop chart (top 50) was this year? Is Britney going to break that? That would be "Angel" by Amanda Perez, which debuted at #33. Britney will easily break that.

I think this song may actually be a big hit for Britney. Has this song grown on anyone since they first heard it? I kind of like it now but I couldnt stand it at first

This is a shock! Her audience Impression, which was at 30 million yesterday has fallen to 28 million, and she gained under 100 spins (i'm sure it will be more by the final updates), losing audience impression is never a good thing. It looks like this song is going to slow down FAST. Big Stations like in NYC, LA, and Detroit were playing it over 60 times at one point and now they are all in the 40's!

Actually, that's quite normal for big debuts like Brit's. All 4 U started off really fast and at some big stations she lost some spins but they will go back up within the next week or two.

Its normal for a song to slow down, this is "MATM" first week for freaking sake.

It's still possible it will do what "I'm Gonna Getcha Good" did on Country and peak this week.

i think it's already obvious this will out-do "IAS4U" on the charts. Its the first week, and the video didn't even get here yet.
I'm really starting to like this song even though I didn't on first listen.

It's still possible it will do what "I'm Gonna Getcha Good" did on Country and peak this week. I'm Gonna Getcha Good! did not peak on its second week on the country chart. It lasted a few more weeks than that (I believe it had like 10-12 weeks with a bullet). It even made it into the top 10. The most important change in Britney's numbers are her audience, which has decreased by about 3 million over the past week. This is mainly because WHTZ and KIIS have really lowered their spin totals for MATM. Last week, New York had it at about 68 spins mid-week, and right now the spin total is about 41. The key to maintaining the strong bullet will be for the "smaller" markets to start grabbing on this song and spinning it too. How many stations are spinning the song now?

Any of you who don't think it'll hit Top 10 are crazy. These gains are BEYOND ridiculous even if they do slow down. The song is a grower, I HATED it at first and I play it all the time now. And I hate to say that because I don't like Britney much... I loved making fun of her at the NFL kickoff with the stupid hair and the song soudned awful live.. I was like...YES BRITNEY'S OVER! But now I'm like....Let me see you dance. Against my will. Haha.
I predict Top 5. Probably Top 3. Maybe #1.

I hope it reaches #1... but even if it does a "Die Another Day", it'd still be excellent for Britney & Madonna!

Has anyone else heard the remix without Madonna? The song is so much better without her. Penelope Magnet's original rap that was done before Madonna came along is also in the remix. You can hear it at www.britneyuk.tv
