I filed a report about this to ProBoards support. I initially thought that it was an issue with ProBoards in general (like it sometimes happens), but after corroborating what Daryl posted above, it seems that this is only happening here, so I hope this could be solved soon.
In the meantime, you could search threads via Google, as Jazzy mentioned. It's the best alternate option to be honest, which is the one I do too.

A re-index for the forum was submitted by Scott, who is a ProBoards Admin, so the search function should work in all the parts of the forum by now.

The search function for newer results is not working. For instance, when I try to search for the new Pearl Jam single (Retrograde) in the rock board, the thread does not show up.
The ability to search for posts by user also does not work.
And finally, the threads created during April Fools still show up in the search results.

Yeah I see no threads after like April 6 or something like that when I try searching for something (which is already getting annoying when trying to create a thread in the Nostalgia section).

I filed a report about this to ProBoards support. I thought that this could be a glitch and it will be eventually fixed, but it's been almost a month with this issue. As I did last year, I requested a re-index in the forum, so this should be solved as soon as this is done, unless there's an alternate option.

Just to give an update on this.
I was told by Craig, who is a Support Helper, that the re-index was going to be done today. Additionally to this, Scott, who is a ProBoards Admin, told me that the this has been submitted to the forum, so the search function should work in all the parts of the forum now.
Please, let me know if everything is fine or if any of you still have some issues with this function.

ETA: I was told by Scott (ProBoards admin) that a re-index was submitted to the forum, so everything should be working by now. Please, let me know if any of you still has some issues with the search function and labels and I can redirect that information towards ProBoards support.

I just to want to let you know that there were still ongoing issues some days later after the previous post, so a couple of re-index were submitted to the forum during the last two weeks with Scott and Michael's help. It seems that the latter, who is another ProBoards admin, could identify the issue after it was forwarded to the systems team, so this has been solved by now. Let's see for how long the search function works.
Once again, if any of you has some issues with the search function, please let me know, so I can redirect this to ProBoards support.
