I don't think it's time for predictions considering we haven't even seen how "My Happy Ending" has done. I just wanted to say that this is my favorite Avril single to date! I especially love the bridge with the Dolores O'Riordan/Sarah McLachlan-esque high notes. I hope this is a Top 10 for her.

Oh and Ben Moody, formerly of Evanescence, wrote it.

It's the next single?

Perhaps this should be moved to Opinions unless it is officially confirmed already as the third single.
But, yes, I think it is one of Avril's best recordings to date. Her maturity is evident here, and by the time she gets into her twenties, she may very well be the next O'Riordan, etc.
Speaking of which, I miss the Cranberries! :(
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Nobody's Home is confirmed as the the next single. . .
This was posted at her main website:
And The Third Single Is... NOBODY'S HOME! Nettwerk confirmed today that Nobody's Home will in fact be the third single off of Under My Skin.
If MHE manages to peak somewhere in the top 5 then I think this song has a lot of potential to do the same.

I like this song but I don't know about it as the third single. The next single will be released to radio in September or October, meaning it will be the Christmas single. Since so many people are buying CD's at that time, you want the song that will get the most airplay out at that time, which I think would be "How Does It Feel". I just see that as more radio friendly, and able to crossover to AC and Hot Ac more easily.
I would have saved "Nobody's Home" for the fourth single

I hate "How Does It Feel". The chorus is just irritating to me.

I LOVE this song. The background vocals in the pre-chous give me the chills.. The part where she goes "What wrong with crying, too many too many problems", the "ahhhhhhhh" in the background, those are amazing. GREAT song! I'll have to agree that this is her best song so far. Definately will be a big hit. I want "My happy ending" to do well to because i love it too. She deserves to be huge.

I'm going to predict anyway. Top 22 if "...Ending" fails to reach the Top 5 and Top 14 if "...Ending" reaches the Top 5.

This is Top 5. Easily.
I wonder if Moody would make an appearance in Avril's video since he gets part credit for writing it (or at least the music to it). Meh, whatever.
But this'll be top 5 in November.

Oh and Ben Moody, formerly of Evanescence, wrote it. No he didn't. There's a difference between writing a song and co-writing the music, which is what Ben did.
Any sign of a date or anything? Obviously it's much too soon for a radio date anytime this Summer. They shouldn't have confirmed anything yet. It's too soon. Either way, I think I might jump on the track in a few weeks anyways.

This is sooo good...
I got her album last week and I really love it...there's only a couple of songs that I don't like...
I like "How Does it Feel" too...its not as good as Nobody's Home but it's still good, IMO
Her album is good

Exactly, and all it says he wrote was the guitar.

Well "My Happy Ending" sure surpassed many of our expectation's. "Nobody's Home" may have to wait until November or December to go for adds!

But can My Happy Ending make it to number 1? Ashlee still has a huge spin total and is only decreasing slightly. I say My Happy Ending stalls at number 3. But the song went beyond my expectations. I only predicted a top 15 hit with this song, but it went way beyond.

This may be her 5th #1 depending if "My Happy Ending" can maintain its gains until Ashley and Maroon 5 burnout and fends off Black Eyed Peas.

I think "Fall to Pieces" would have been the best single to put out. I love "He wasn't" and "Who Knows" too though.
