I agree. 'Suit,' should have been released first on it's own. If Nelly was smart he would have saved, 'Sweat,' until next summer, released a 'Hot In Herre' esque song in June and then he woulda been on fire!

He really should have just released "Suit."Β The only thing he's achieved in releasing "Flap Ya Wings" and "Tilt Ya Head Back" is overexposing himself. Yeayouareright!!!!!!!!!!!Β Too much Nelly is a bad thing.

The song's growing on me. Still can't believe it has a +1600 gain. It will be interesting to see where this song is one month from now. I predict top 15, but a stall.

This song sounds so boring

I still love it. As to why some might think its boring: the 'over and over' chorus, the record scratching, and a faded Tim McGraw sample, the guitar picking.

This song is ok. I haven't been a fan of Nelly's music as of late. "Over And Over" isn't any better or worse than anything else he's released from "Sweat" or "Suit". With it's huge spin gain it should make it to the top 10.
My prediction: #5

Wow. Look at this one accelerate. It could approach +2000 as the week goes on.
I could see this one heading straight to #1, but something tells me it's going to stall out somewhere around #5 or #6.

I think this means that Tim McGraw has a future in CHR/Pop if he or his record company wishes. Just like Faith Hill and Shania Twain, he could be a major crossover artist... possibly the Kenny Rogers of the 21st century.

Not to sound stupid, but I have a hard time telling which part Tim McGraw sings. Is it just the stuff at the end of the refrain and the end of the song (basically a couple of lines)?
Kinda funny that there are a few spots where I can't tell whether it's Nelly or Tim singin.

I believe Tim sings the verses. I agree, it is difficult to discern who is singing what. It may be what makes the song sound so bland to me.

I agree with the above two... I can't tell who's who in the song.

I like this more than "My Place" now. It's my favorite Nelly single since "Hot In Herre".

I couldn't tell who sang which parts either at first but I believe Tim McGraw sings the chorus as well as one of the verses.

Im glad to see it doing well too and hope it keeps its amazing bullet up, it's fun to watch a song fly up the chart like that so quickly.
Nelly FINALLY has his first Top 10 on Pop from the Sweat/Suit era. Took him long enough! lol

"My Place" peaked at #10 for a week. No, I thought it hit #10 mid-week but then finished at #11 at the final update.

No.Β It made #10 officially. Oh really? I didn't know that. I thought it had hit #10 and then was kicked out on the Saturday, just missing #10. What was the song that was right behind it and kicked it out, was it Ryan Cabrera? Or Lil Flip Sunshine?

Can't believe the success of this song!! After six or seven consecutive days, it still has a +2000 gain!! I see this going to the top spot, taking the throne of Kelly Clarkson. Pretty amazed by the success of the song, considering it wasn't going to be an actual single.
