This is getting some attention under the radar with a +99 bullet and a handful of new adds. Perhaps simply because of the frenzied buzz of Nelly's two new releases, but still significant.
Could this unlikely duet become a forthcoming smash?
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I heard this on the rhytmic station. They said they were getting tons of requests.
The song's pretty interesting, and I wonder how it'll do. As far as I remember, Tim McGraw has never had a hit song on CHR/Pop, even when the format was very open to Country crossovers from his wife and others. But Nelly's huge. This might pull a "Dillemma".

This is a great song. Wouldn't be surprised to see them release this soon. My Place has lost it's bullet on both Pop and Rhythmic, so Suit is ready for a 2nd single at those formats.

I'm sorry but I have to say that No-Nelly is not going "Country" but Yes-Tim is going pop

Tim McGraw isn't going pop. He added country vocals to a rap song.
"Going pop" is reserved for artist like Faith, Shania, and LeAnn who make records aimed at pop radio, or remix their country songs to make them pop friendly.
Tim is bringing country into a different genre of music, he isn't changing his style at all.

I love this song. I think it's better than what Nelly has released from his albums so far.

His flow on these news albums is so lazy. He lost that fire he used to have with songs like "EI" and "Hot In Herre".

All the girls like this song so it'll probably do well at pop radio. I personally HATE THIS SONG. The song is weak and its just a real snoozer.

He just sings on all of his songs now. This song just sucks. Its boring as hell.
"tilt your head back" and "flap your wings" are the only songs from him that I like thus far.

I like this and think it will do decently on Pop if given a chance. Due to its repetitiveness, it would probably burn out pretty quickly though.

His flow is usually lazy, that's his style. Now that's his style! In 2000-2003, that was not his style except for a few songs.

But even on his slower songs, I don't think his lyrics were as lazy as they are now. There's a definite difference to me between even "Dilemma" and "Over And Over".

You can't compare the flow on "EI" or "Hot in Herre" to "Over and Over", lol. That's like comparing apples to oranges.
Hot in Herre and EI are heat of the party type songs, Over and Over (and 80% of the 'Suit' album) are more like sitting on the front porch knitting with grandma on a rocking chair.
Of course his flow isn't going to be all brash and cocky on a song with Tim McGraw. If it was, not only would Tim McGraw NEVER agree to appear on such a track, but it would be laughed at from here until the end of time.
His flow can't possibly be "lazy" on alot of the songs on Sweat (take Flap Ya Wings, for example)...that's why he broke it into 2 albums...1 for the "lazy", slow flow and one for the harsh in your face party starters and cocky slang.
However I will concede it does sound more and more like he's "singing" on songs like "My Place" and some of the 'Suit' album. More "singing" than he's ever done in the past.
Anyway, I noticed this song getting adds at Pop and I think they may just make this the next single off 'Suit'. They will just need Tim McGraw and his label's ok for the video and to make it an official single, but I wouldn't see the problem...Tim's own album just came out not too long ago and would expose him to a whole new crop of potential buyers and fans.
The song is kind of boring...but it's good...I could see it going Top 10 on Pop simply because of the fact Tim McGraw's name is attatched and the buzz surrounding the song/weird pairing.

I think Pop and Rhythmic just want a reason to play Tim McGraw. Everyone loves him.
I think it's the best song from either album, followed by "Tilt"

Where can I hear it? Link? Thanks.
Sounds interesting, even though I'm not much into country or Tim McGraw. ;)

They will be forced (but maybe not such in a bad way) to make this the second single off "Suit", no doubt.
It's a great choice too, I'm sure it will be a hit (on Pop anyway) and probably finally get him that Top 10 that "My Place" wasn't.
They probably wanted something like this to happen, where radio would "choose" the next single, because Im sure they didn't know what to do following My Place, thinking that would have been a bit bigger hit than it was.

Yeah. I think Suit will end up having more singles than Sweat. I'm sure And They Say will be the fourth single.

Anything to get "Flap Ya Wings" and "Tilt Ya Head Back"* off the radio, I guess...
Actually, I like it. Hope it does well.
*Disclaimer: never heard

I really like this song.
Is it replacing "Tilt Ya Head Back" or what? If not, Nelly's rushing through the singles faster than Usher.

Tilt still has a healthy bullet-are they just going to pull it last second? That seems weird to me.

Aren't "Tilt" and this one from 2 different CDs? Maybe he means to have 2 singles out at once.
