Let's try to start this thread featuring birthdays of our Country Music Artists: The source for my data comes from Joel Whitburn's Top Country Songs 1944-2005, so I won't have the most recent stats. That's where we fill in the gaps. Also the AP is another source for they post birthdays as well.
So each day, I'll start posting birthdates for that particular day, for example January 1st. (today), I'll post that artist's birthday greeting. If there is someone I've forgotten, feel free to add that in. Then tomorrow, January 2nd., I'll post for that day as well, etc.
Also, artists of the past who are no longer with us will be posted as well.
Feel free to wish that star of the day: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
There is only one entry for today:
January 1st. Brian Flynn (Flynnville Train) 1966, 42 years old

Well the Tractors were a band that had a hit with "Baby Likes To Rock It". (Good song......) I guess they are still together, but the members have changed or something... IDK They aren't very popular now, obviously. The Forester Sisters were a group of sisters (shocking, no?) who had a string of top 10 hits in the late 80's. I don't know the latter two, though. Quick search on Wikipedia which was already open in my browser says Bradley is a guitarist and 2006 Country Music Hall of Famer. Apparantley Hartman isn't important enough to have his own WikiPage though, and I don't really feel like doing any extensive searching.

IDK They aren't very popular now, obviously. The Tractors are indeed still around. Ripley's still the lead singer, and the other band members are kind of unofficial; according to Ripley, The Tractors is more of a "state of mind" now. By the way, their self titled debut album on Arista is a masterpiece in my book. By the way, the only Chris Hartman I can find is a former member of Emerson Drive. Edwin, is this the one you're thinking of?

Anyone ever heard of Shayne Morrison, Born January 13, 1966, 42 years old. Part of a group from Texas called Perfect Stranger. Haven't had a hit since 1994 with a song called "You Have The Right To Remain Silent" which peaked at #4, but definitely a country singer. Currently part of the Morrison-Williams duo with Clint Williams. Have a good night.
