I've got a few non-country concerts coming up this fall, but my next country concert is Tanya Tucker in November. This will be my second time seeing her.

I saw Lucinda Williams last night for her 20th anniversary tour for Car Wheels On A Gravel Road. My introduction to Lucinda came with Are You Alright, from West, so Car Wheels had already been out and got all the awards at that point. I've gotten every album from her since West but for the most part, found her to be pretty hit and miss. West remained my favourite of her albums with a few gems scattered throughout the rest.
I actually didn't listen to Car Wheels until a few weeks ago for the first time and was surprised at how much I liked it. The album is much tamer in sound than her records since then, so it made for an easier listen and I found it more melodic than a lot of her stuff since so it was enjoyable to hear it performed live. She told stories about the songs, which was interesting too but I didn't find her very interactive with the audience, which isn't really a bad thing as she seems to me more to be a musician rather than a performer. It was still an enjoyable show and I'm really glad I finally discovered that album.

Seeing Carrie Underwood's Cry Pretty Tour 360 with Maddie & Tae and Runaway June in 2 days. It was an absolutely phenomenal show and I had an amazing time. I'm so glad that this time I sprung for a pit ticket because being up close to the stage made the experience that much better and it was 100% worth it. If Carrie Underwood doesn't win EOTY at the CMAs this fall, then idk what more this woman has to do because when it comes to entertainment, there's no current act in the genre who comes close to the star power she exhibits on stage. Her stage design and special effects are perfectly on-point, her live vocals are fantastic, and her candor is lovely. I'm also really glad that some of my Pulse friends talked me into getting a ticket for this show because I was majorly on the fence about doing it because this is literally the first time I've ever been to a concert by myself without any friends or family in attendance with me, and the thought of doing that was giving me some high anxiety... but I'm proud that I was able to overcome that and have a great time totally on my own and open that door for myself. Hindsight is 20/20, but now after having been to the show, I am confident I made the right choice because I would've truly missed out! If you're considering seeing the Cry Pretty Tour 360, do it! <3

Baltimore was alive this evening for Miranda. I can't specifically mention which part of the concert was the highlight because they all were equally good. During Tin Man, my section tried having a moment by waving their phone flashlights but it didn't catch on (Thank Jesus). Pistol Annies is a gift that country radio has chosen to ignore but then again that's their loss. She performed a new song off her upcoming album (Tequila Does), I like it although I'd have preferred if she kept the Mexican theme throughout the song. This was my first time seeing her and hopefully not my last, that's assuming she comes around here soon because it's been 5 long years. Next week I get to see Carrie...

Going to see Gretchen Peters tonight at a small cafe here in Austin. Really excited to hear her perform “Blackbirds”, “Arguing With Ghosts”, and especially “On a Bus to St. Cloud”!

I've got a few non-country concerts coming up this fall, but my next country concert is Tanya Tucker in November. This will be my second time seeing her. Tanya was great tonight! I'm so glad that I saw her a second time, as the concert was quite different than the first one of hers I saw. The biggest difference was that she had new material this time, and she performed a lot of it - six songs from While I'm Livin'. I was glad, because I love the album, but if you were going hoping to hear a lot of her biggest hits, you might have been a little disappointed. That's why I'm really glad that I got both experiences. The first time I saw her (in March of 2017), she didn't have anything new to promote, so it was basically a 'greatest hits' concert, which was great. She was her usual funny self, if (self-admittedly) a little hungover from partying with Merle Haggard's sons the night before. Surprisingly (to me, anyway) the song that got the biggest reaction from the crowd was "Bring My Flowers Now" (closely followed by "Delta Dawn"). This really makes me think that had it come out 20 years ago, it could have been another career song for her. On a personal note, I'm glad that I enjoyed it as much as I did. My friend who was supposed to go with me had to cancel at the last minute, so I ended up going alone, something I've only done once before. I'm glad that even despite that, I found it really enjoyable (even if the average age of the crowd was probably 80, lol).

Bryan White, thompson Square, and Chris Janson tonight. Makes up for the Janson show cancelled early this year by a different venue that didn't feel his type of music was good for their venue. Yet they have plenty of other shows of all kids of genres, including other country shows.

It’s finally arrived...I’m going to see George Strait tomorrow night which will be my twentieth something time seeing him since I went to my first concert way back in 1993! It’s at the same venue where they film Austin City Limits for PBS and only fits about 2,800 people so it’s rather intimate and I just couldn’t pass this one up. While it’s not on his official schedule it was added just a month ago and is a benefit concert for the Bahamas.

I’ve been a bit more selective this year about concerts (so far at least), but I just got a ticket to see Grace Potter next weekend here in Austin!
Amanda Shires two weeks after that!

Can anyone help me out ? My girlfriend bought me Brooks & Dunn tickets for my bday. We were talking finances and she mentioned how expensive they were. As it turns out , she bought the ENTIRE 2020 mega ticket. Don’t even get me started on how dumb the mega ticket thing is btw. Anyways , I tried to buy tickets from (4) different websites and they all took you to a screen with a photo of brooks & Dunn and said mega ticket. She does not know what mega ticket means. However , it’s very dubious how they are getting you to buy the entire mega ticket. I went to Jason Aldean and it did the same thing (photo of him ). In essence it has the sense of a scam. They are now saying we cannot get our money back or a discount. Non refundable. Keep in mind we bought tickets to a out of town show so we can’t simply go to all the other concerts
Here’s the weird thing , brooks and Dunn website has now deleted all the tour dates. Facebook has too (other than Vegas ). Does anyone know what’s going on ? Did the tour get cancelled ? Has anyone had similar experiences dealing with Ticketmaster ?
Any help is greatly appreciated. This is why I only go to indie shows at smaller venues ! Hah

I can't speak to B&D in particular because I haven't looked, but generally for Megaticket shows the individual concerts will typically go on sale in late February or March. They have a sale window for Megaticket only, and then they will individually start selling the shows with fan club/credit card presales and public onsale.

I didn't know this thread was a thing!
I have a couple of country concerts coming up in April: one with Maddie & Tae and then another one with Martina McBride!
I also got tickets to see Tim McGraw and it's one of the two nights that Luke Combs is supposed to appear on too, so I'm SUPER stoked for that one.

I guess now is a good time to mention that I am going to see Sara Evans in like 5 days SO HOW WAS SHE (of course she was amazing but still how did it go) Martina McBride will be like half an hour away from my college campus in April and the cheapest tickets are doable--about $90 or so. Here's to getting jobs and tickets henny!
