LOL @ you thinking TMB is going to be in all those categories.
I think Leona will get nominated for Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and possibly Best Pop Vocal Album. "Bleeding Love" has a good shot at being nominated for Song of the Year. I don't think she'll get an Album of the Year nomination.
I think "No Air" is the one to beat for Best Pop Collaboration w/ Vocals. Jordin might also be able to snag a nod for Best New Artist as well.
Sara Bareilles' album came out last July and was submitted last year for Best Pop Vocal Album so that eliminates her chances of getting nominated in that category along with Best New Artist and Album of the Year. I think her best shot at a nomination will be for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and maybe ROTY/SOTY if voters remember it.
Mariah and Usher will go head to head in the R&B categories... Not sure about their chances in the general fields just yet. Depends on how well-received Usher's album is.
I'm not quite sure what Madonna's label is going to do for her album. Will they submit it to the dance categories or pop ones? She probably has a better shot at winning the dance categories if anything. I wouldn't be surprised to see "4 Minutes" get a nomination for Best Pop Collaboration w/ Vocals.
I think some other possible nominees we'll be seeing are Duffy, Natasha Bedingfield, Jack Johnson, OneRepublic, Alicia Keys and Carrie Underwood. Should be a pretty exciting year!

Leona Lewis will also be nominated for BEST NEW ARTIST.
however, i don't know if leona will win any awards. She was Snubbed at the Brit awards (her own country) - so she may suffer the same fate here.

Let's add some more categories with nominees people! I think a safe prediction would be
Best Rock Album: Sheryl Crow - Detours Best Contemporary Folk Album: Emmylou Harris - All I Intended To Be (Release June 10th)
Any more ideas? These two are usually nominated so I think they have a good shot at being nominated (and their albums are stellar so).

Carrie's label submitted "So Small" for nominations last year, so it definitely won't be in any country categories for the upcoming show. Assuming her label submits "Just A Dream" (if it is the next single) then that will more than likely be a lock for a nomination.
She should also have a decent shot at Country Album of the Year... Don't think she'll win, though.

Leona's team will definitely be making a strong push towards BNA. Not sure if she'll get ROTY with Clive gone, but I could see it being more likely than SOTY.
I can't see TMB being nominated in any major categories either

I think Duffy will break big with Mercy and could get a couple of nods. Think people are overestimating Leona's likely nominations - she might get a one for Bleeding Love (Pop vocal) and maybe best new artist but nothing more.

Britney's "Piece Of Me" will either be nominated in the Best Female Pop Vocal category or Best Dance Recording, depending on where Jive will submit it.
Blackout might also get nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album.

No way in hell leona will get nominated for album of the year. LOL. most critics agree that besides BL the rest of the album isn't good with some saying her voice has no soul when she sings. so with critics saying that her album is pretty dull im sure it wont get nominated for it. as for tmb i dont think so either.

I think Leona will get nominated for and have a decent chance of winning ROTY, BNA and Female Pop Vocal. She might get nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album too, but I doubt she'll win that.

Mariah's TMB won't be nominated on any Grammy categorie i guess, if it's lucky enough, it can be nominated on Female Pop Vocal Performance (Like her ILT in 2006), but will lose to Leona. But i can see her other song will be nominated in many categories, maybe Bye Bye or her next singles. I predict Mariah and Usher will be nominated in big 3, AOTY, ROTY and SOTY. Usher & Mariah fight for R&B Grammy, also Alicia Keys. I'm sure Leone will huge in pop area and win BNA. I also predict Jordin's NA will get nomination. 4minutes win pop collaboration. Not sure about Britney getting nomination or not.

I have a feeling Alicia's gonna take home quite a few trophies ;)
A lot of your lists are dominated by really mainstream artists/hits. The grammys ain't the VMA's people.

I hope they don't even nominate Bye Bye. E=MC² deserves Grammy's, but TMB & BB? NO!

Leona, Sarah, Jack, Mariah, Jordin, Madonna and Janet will walk away with at least 1 award.

I definitely agree that Leona will not get the love that is being predicted here. Probably Pop Female, Best New Artist but after that, nothing is a lock. Gnarls Barkley is gonna be a big contender for Alt Album & Urban/Alt Performance for Run or WGSMS or whatever they submit. Can Timbo's Apologize be submitted this year? It could potentially get an Irreplaceable-esque ROY nod.
I think BNA will be... Leona Lewis Jordin Sparks Duffy
I don't see any of those winning though. After Amy's domination this year, I can't see Duffy winning much. And I think Leona & Jordin cancel themselves out.
The R&B categories are gonna be really fun to watch: Mariah, Usher, Alicia, Mary J, Chris Brown, Erykah Badu, John Legend (releasing something this summer right?) - that's more or less ALL of the R&B heavyweights we could dream of.
As for Rap, I'm hoping without Kanye, Lupe can pick up an award (Best Rap Album?). Jay-Z will also be a force with a REAL comeback album in AG. I see both being locks for BRA and I assume Roc Boys & Superstar (Paris, Tokyo? HHSML?) will get nominated somewhere.
For the rock categories...uhh...FF are ineligible since they won Rock Album last year so...who's releasing albums soon?
For pop, there's Leona, Britney, Madonna, Duffy, M5, OneRepublic, 3 Doors Down, Sarah Barellis, John Mayer, Jack Johnson etc. No one so far though that will be the obvious favorite.
BTW, Don't Stop The Music was nominated this past year for Dance Recording. I'm not sure why, it would've had a much better chance this year.

??? As always the Grammy people will go after boring, old farts or hardly sold cds quality music regardless of sales, not JUST mindless pop and club jams.... (not that there's anything wrong with mindless pop and club jams) Hope so! She deserves at least one nod somwhere for this album. ETA: Alicia should definitely have a strong showing, and Leona will almost certainly get a few nods though maybe not wins. Robert Plant/Allison Kraus should also get a nod or two, and I hope they take home at least one win.

Touch My Body will not be nominated people, and it shouldn't. Bye Bye? Ehh..I don't know. Mariah's never been a Grammy darling so I don't expect multiple wins (if any at all) but she should score a couple of nods.
If you ask me I Wish You Well is the most worthy and should have a shot at Best Gospel Performance.

I really don't think Mariah will be nominated for any of the major categories (RY, SY, AY). We'll see though. Alicia Keys will be nominated in all of those categories though.
