Yes, number 84 is indeed "Look Away". I totalled up all of its points using the classic inverse point system and it did indeed top "Get Out Of My Dreams, Get Into My Car" by Billy Ocean, since it spent three more weeks on the chart (though both songs spent thirteen weeks within the Top 30).
And its chart run was exactly halfway between the 1988 and 1989 chart years, since it gained about the same number of points in the two years. What's more, it didn't gain enough points in either year to register on the year end charts, which were not full Top 100s yet.
An easier clue on number 82. This was the second of nearly a dozen Top 40 hits by this group, the last of which hit in the summer of 1985.

Yes, it is indeed "All Out Of Love"
80) This song hit #1 the late summer of 1986 and is one of the most overplayed 80s hits of today.
79) This group had two number one hits on Billboard. Both of them missed the top on R&R. This first one is from 1982.
78) The number one AC hit of 1983.
77) The band who sang this song had two female lead singer. One of them usually sang lead on the songs but, ironically, their first number one song was sang by the other one. The song in question was the first #1 song sung by the usual lead singer.
76) This song, by a man known for his tender love songs, spent a pair of weeks on top in early 1980.
GOOD LUCK!!

Nope, "Truly" is from 1982.
(Only two unnamed 1983 songs are left).

Yes, indeed! At last, we can proceed!
75) This song made the highest debut of all of the 80s (that is, when the charts went down to 40).
74) This song spent multiple weeks at number one on Billboard, yet missed the top of the R&R chart, presumably because some stations refused to play it due to its lyrical content (there were two songs like this at around the same time).
73) This song spent about a month in the runner-up position at the end of 1980.
72) The group who sang this song had many Top 40 hits, yet on Billboard, they only had five Top Ten hits. This is one of them and, on R&R, the song spent a pair of weeks on top.
71) "Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here." "They caused an explosion!" "Is that true?" "Yes, it's true, your Honor. This man has no dick."

No, that song never hit #1 on Billboard. It stopped at number two, because of its diminished airplay.

This is totally a shot in the dark but I'm going to go with "Centerfold" by J. Geils Band for #74. I know it peaked at #2 CHR/Pop and #1 Billboard and I guess some people might consider the lyrics to be racy.

Yeah, gotta be either that one or Olivia Newton-John's "Physical". 71) Ray Parker, Jr. - "Ghostbusters"

Well, let's see....
74 is "Centerfold". 73 is "More Than I Can Say" 71 is "Ghostbusters".
Other than that, the answers are incorrect.
Easier clues:
72) This group had two number one songs on Billboard, so that totally rules out Journey. The song in question hit #5 on Billboard.
75) When this song debuted nearly halfway up the chart in the mid-80s, host John Leader of "Countdown USA" said that it was the highest debut on the R&R chart since "Electric Avenue" by Eddy Grant debuted at #19 back in 1983. On a sidenote, I remember thinking, "Well, that's not a valid comparison, because back in 1983, the charts only went down to 30. 'Electric Avenue' was probably right outside the Top 30 the week before." It turned out that I was right, because when I received the 1983 charts, I saw that it was a BREAKER on the chart and it said "Will debut on R&R chart next week".

I'm too young. I only lived in a bit of 1989. Same here. But I love 80's music.
