Uh, no it's not. Why do you think they have a different name for the chart? Bubbling Under is for new songs and songs that haven't debuted on the Hot 100 yet. It's perfectly possible the week before song #101 was something that had slightly less audience impressions than song #100 and had been sliding down the chart for a few weeks. haha. listen to david. he knows what he's talking about.

So what if a song that spent 18 weeks inside the Hot 100 falls out of the Top 100 but still has MORE points than the song that is #1 bubbling under? Does it cease to exist?

I can't believe the low bullet, and it hasn't even reached the Top 20.

All bullets are down so I doubt this is done.

This song has seriously slowed down, regardless of the ultra-low bullet this morning. At this rate, it might not make the top 20 at all. I am pretty shocked.

I would be shock if radio doesn't bring Kelly to Top 20, it's their golden girl! As for the song, it's not as instant like her previous stuff so if it misses, not a surprise at all.
I'm sure her second single will be stronger than this. Her label won't let her flop.

The awesome Beelzebub at the KCE, put up a cap of the performance. Here's a sendspace link: www.sendspace.com/file/3xcl5iShe looked and sounded great. I loved how she sang the bridge, but I didn't like the lines that were cut out of the song. It was really noticeable, IMO. I hope that the cuts are temporary.

Rachel at KCE who has a reliable source posted this about the David Letterman performance tonight:
"This will be a full version of Never Again. Not cut down to fit a time slot"

Umm..yeah it is! lol The Bubbling Under is songs that didn't make it onto the chart yet. If a song is #1 on the Bubbling Under it IS #101 on the Hot 100. lol However, its new songs that haven't charted yet. The Bubbling Under chart is the 25 positions below #100. However, if a song has already made the Hot 100 it can't go back into the Bubbling Under chart if it were to drop off the Hot 100. But the song can still re-enter the Hot 100 chart. Technically, a song that's #1 on Bubbling Under wouldn't necessarily be #101 if the Billboard Hot 100 was expanded, so I see where he's coming from. And like you mentioned, songs can't re-enter bubbling under if they have already charted, so with that in mind, you really can't say that #1 on Bubbling Under will necessarily always be equal to #101 if The Hot 100 were expanded, and I think that's what he was getting at. But from a practical point of view, I totally get what you're saying about it being practical to consider #1 on Bubbling Under to be #101.

You know you're in trouble when Little Wonders has a higher bullet only on 29 stations, and has been out about 10x longer than this song. OUCH.
For all of those "haters", we sure look like we predicted this correctly. What a trainwreck she has become. I've never seen anything like this in a while.

i dont know what to say about the bullet drop. +2000 to +100 in 2-3 weeks? it's never good, with or without promo. for the past year, all the big artist comeback didnt slow down til inside top 15. avril, agulera, maroon5, even beyonce's deja Vu ... where did wind it up peak by the way? was it #18? i still have little hope for NA. very little .... although i kindda knew this wouldnt do as good as her previous hits, but i didnt think it will strugle to hit top 20. TTWLI level ? i hope this can at least go top 10, i dont know though ... they better have a hot catchy second single ready ...

Thanks for that! It was taking forever to download off of the KCE Server. She sounds rough. Sucks that if she's sick she's got all of this promo lined up this week.

I only heard "Go" on the Ford commercials, and based on that, I don't think it would have been a great first single, but it probably would have done better than this song at this point. I was unimpressed with it, though. "Never Again" is so much better.

Do you guys think Go would have made a good first single for this album? eww no, although maybe GO is more top 40 friendly ... and would be doing better at the moment. NA is a far better song though ... i still have faith on this song though. there's no way this will not go higher ....

The only really awesome thing about Go was the bridge, other than that, IMO, it wasn't that great of a song.

Never Again sounded good live. Walk Away... should "NEVER AGAIN" (pun intended) be sung that way. She cracked. I'm a die hard kelly fan but oh lord that was kinda messy. The bullet is really worrying me.

A little rough and conservative (very reasonable for that time of the day) but still great and cute! I though this would not sound good live but I was wrong ... very good performance! Thank God the "wig" is gone too! By the way instead of wasting your time replying to people who think the song is over or looking at the bullet trying to figure it out, here is some better job for you all! z100: 1 - 800 -242 - 0100 text #: 55100 Philly: text:77100 Seattle: text:41061 KIIS (Los Angeles) : 1 - 800 - 520-102 text:41027 VH1 countdown: www.vh1.com/shows/series/top_20_countdown/vote.jhtml

Don't mean to answer for someone else, but it works both ways. However. Carriefan made some startlingly nasty and unfounded assumptions about Kelly -- and then stated them as fact. I think that it's fair game to call someone's motives into question when they behave that way. I understand that, but you emphasized CARRIE in her name like just because she was a Carrie fan meant she wasn't a Kelly fan. If you look at my siggy it has my top 5 in it. You will see Kelly is at #2 and Carrie is at #4! I like Carrie, does that mean I hate Kelly too?? You brought Carrie into this when she wasn't even mentioned. Couldn't you just leave her out of it?? thanks so much david for defending me! im sorry i started this, but i think it is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS that carrie has been brought into this. jesus. i frikkin LOVE kelly clarkson. i have almost every song of hers on my ipod, and her new song is one of my three favorite songs right now. I SAID I THINK THE SONG IS NOT A FLOP, IS GREAT, AND DESERVES TO BE #1. the others things i posted were reasons why she mmight have slipped in the public's eyes. um...reports have surfaced about clive davis not liking any song on the new CD but never again, people have shown a weariness to the song, and the general public does not seem to be satisfied with it! I NEVER CLAIMED ANYTHING AS FACT. however, i would be willing to find polls/articles to back up my claims. its disgusting how just because i am a carrie fan automatically means i HATE kelly. sheesh.. did u not read any of my other things i said? u cnat just pick and choose what to read and believe, which that person obviously did. i wish carrie and kelly fans had the same relationship carrie and pink fans do....but with this type of atmostphere, it will never work.
