I assume those countdowns are based on requests, right? cuz NA has consistently been in those type countdowns every night on stations across the country, yet this song still has managed to drop in spins.
but girlfriend didn't you say that after a few listens you absolutely LOVED the song? so I guess that begs the question did you not want to hear it on the radio after you started liking it just because at first you weren't crazy about it?
I get that people at first would be like "whoa" but after a few times hearing it most people agree that the song was great.

So what does the term "radio friendly" mean?
Does it mean something different for each genre? Different for Country? For Urban? For oldies stations? For AC? For Spanish music stations? What?
Or is it a term that only applies to Top 40 stations?

I just feel people are throwing the term 'Americas Sweetheart' to Kelly way too loosely. At the moment, she is not Americas Sweetheart. There can only be one American sweetheart during an era, and right now it's Carrie Underwood. And yeah, Perez Hilton is very influential. He has become more popular than Star and Us Weekly and all those other shows. kelly is and always will be america's sweetheart! she is the first & BEST american idol EVER... and america is always pulling for her! perez hilton is so not influential!!! i mean seriously.. how dumb can someone be!! |

I do love the song and it was stucked in my head. However, that doesn't mean the song is suitable for radio because I love it. It's too dark, and it lacks a hook and a melody. Right now, I don't really care if the album doesn't find commercial success. The quality is more important. :) Kelly fought hard to get it release so it must be good. |
