I know it is a long way off, but what happens after the success of this era? When this era is huge (hopefully) where does it leave Kelly? Wanting to experiment again and make herself a personal album? Or will it be a forced album? Because if she makes an album that she wants then what press (good/bad) will she recieve? Do you understand what I am getting at? Compromise album. I think "One Minute" could've been huge with better production, so something along those lines.

Haha those lyrics are alot better than most of the lyrics on SUBG. I just think we were spoiled with masterpieces from MD, it'll take us a moment to get back to Breakaway days.

Honestly, look at this:
I don't want to be tough And I don't want to be proud I don't need to be fixed and I certainly don't need to be found I'm not lost I need to be loved
are you really sure you want to go back to this:
But since you been gone I can breathe for the first time I'm so movin' on, yeah yeah Thanks to you, now I get what I want Since you been gone
? I don't think I can. I hate Clive Davis, with all my strenght.

Kelly Clarkson Reveals Glossy New Look for March Album “Masquerade” 1/5/09, 2:30 pm EST Kelly Clarkson used the New Year break to reveal her glossy new look via the cover of her upcoming single “My Life Would Suck Without You.” Bouncing back from the brooding My December artwork, the “Suck” photo shows Clarkson sporting a wide-eyed, Katy Perry-esque look and a heart-shaped lollipop a la Madonna’s Hard Candy. If the tongue-in-cheek song title had you thinking “I Kissed A Girl,” you probably won’t be surprised to know that “Kissed” co-writers and producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin are the masterminds behind “Suck” as well (Martin also produced Britney Spears’ “If U Seek Amy,” completing the trifecta for controversial choruses.) With the single’s album cover came the single’s lyrics, featuring the chorus ” ‘Cause we belong together now, Forever united here somehow, You got a piece of me, And honestly, My life would suck without you.” All we’re waiting on now is the actual song, due to hit radio January 19th. We’ve heard some new tracks from Clarkson’s upcoming album (including “Suck”) and decided they were, in fact, “totally awesome.” As for Clarkson’s fourth album, expected out on March 17th, reports have surfaced that the album will be called Masquerade. Clarkson is “in a period where she wants to take on the pop world again,” RCA general manager Tom Corson tells the Wall Street Journal. “She’s ready, and she’s got all the right support.” www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2009/01/05/kelly-clarkson-reveals-glossy-new-look-for-march-album-masquerade/

RCA, make up your minds on the title oy! Seriously ! It appears that RollingStone, among many other print and online media organizations, took the "reports" in their respective articles from the Wall Street Journal article, so who knows. :(

Kelly Clarkson shares her lyrics12:53 PM PT, Jan 5 2009 With eight days to go until Season 8, it's a big morning for Idol news. We're going to tackle as much as we can here, but at this moment, the major event burning up the wires is the unveiling of the complete lyrics for prodigal Idol Kelly Clarkson's forthcoming single, "My Life Would Suck Without You." The roll out of this comeback album has been a campaign worthy of a World War II invasion plan. In drips and drabs, slowly we have been given glimpses first of the name of the single, then the name of the album, then a release date, then the testimony of expert witnesses who had been granted a glimpse of the prodigal album and dubbed it a return to form and then the cover art (at top). Now, today, we get the next taste of the shape of Kelly to come. Popeater on AOL has unveiled the complete lyrics to the first single from the upcoming album. The lyrics build on the theme suggested in the song's title, "My Life Would Suck Without You." In them, Kelly suggests that Being with you is so dysfunctional I really shouldn't miss you, but I can't let go Those who wish to read the song as a metaphor for her sometimes stormy relationship with the burdens and machinery of Idoldom are welcome to do so. Complete lyrics after the jump: *** -- Richard Rushfield latimesblogs.latimes.com/americanidoltracker/2009/01/kelly-clarkson.html

Re the rollout, it really has been handled very well so far by her new management.

as for the title change, it doesn't matter to me. I like both of them ok, but I think "All I Ever Wanted" sounds much more Kelly than "Masquerade", plus I wasn't thrilled that people were talking about the whole Circus, Funhouse, Carnival Ride thing because to me that made the title "Masquerade" seem unoriginal and bandwagon jumping. Other than that the mystery of it was what I liked about it. I agree with you, too. I liked it but afterI thought about it, it did seem too much like Circus and Funhouse- i think the Masquerade title could also invite alot of hostile "Who is Kelly Clarkson now?" reviews and I'm glad that's been taken off the table. Did we not get a song today?

I like either titles to be honest. I do too. Masquerade is kind of mysterious and fun at the same time. She can take that theme a long way with this era, and I think it would be cool. All I Ever Wanted is very 'kellyish' and would fit her style.

Masquerade is kind of mysterious and fun at the same time. I totally didn't catch that. If MLWSWY didn't make it more obvious, the album title "Masquerade" woud let people know that "fun Kelly" is back! :)

I think All I Ever Wanted is kind of bland and generic.

It's very Nickelback ish, the title. Masquerade should have stayed as the title.

I just feel the All I Ever Wanted sounds like a Nickelback album. The title or the actual song? Cause if you mean the actual song, I think we should wait to see what Kelly does with it before we juge.

I asked on Popjustice why they were calling the album All I Ever Wanted and they said that is what the label said it's called. How reliable is Popjustice anyway? Why would the label tell them anything (as opposed to the Wall Street Journal)?

I was a big fan of "My Own Little World" actually. If i had my way the album would be called "For All I Know" after my favorite Kelly song ever. :)
