plus, there are 4 songs she worked with Ryan. New Access Hollywood video of Ryan Tedder 1/31/09. He talks about his work with Kelly and says one of his favorite songs -- one of the top two or three songs he ever did in his life -- is on Kelly's album. He says he couldn't be more proud and is giddy about the "stuff" he did with Kelly. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnPiVekbbRganyone else tired of ryan tedder (and the dream) hyping themselves up! they say all of their songs are masterpieces and are amazing, and when it is released, it flops and is only sub-par.

well you have to admit Ryan is very talented..and the songs he has worked on are great A songs...unline My life would suck..well lyrically i mean..its not the greatest...Ryan has a talent for writing great lyrics to a great sound and creating a great song...after that..its up to the audience...some great songs never do that well at all on the charts...CHARTS are not the only thing in the world that classifies a song great or not ... The Halo song from Beyonce hasnt done much on the charts yet (as of yet anyway) but its a great song...unfourtunatly...we the audience are random when it comes to what we like hahah lol...lets just hope it does her good...if not...hopefully they will be another "sober" category song that is greatly unnapreciated

Yeah, the sound, the concept and the title have really sold the song- the lyrics aren't great and the only good memorable line is about being dysfunctional- the production, the singing, the catchy-as-hell melody- it's all great, just wish the lyrics were a little better.

I'M DEPRESSED! I love kelly and I got over MLWSWY in 5 seconds, and I hate that katy perry demo that leaked. I want another My December or the country/blues album she spoke about. I don't like her commercial pop, I think it's better suited to Avril and Miley etc. I've been listening to this demo which I LOVE and imagining what couldve been... www.mp3tube.net/musics/Kelly-Clarkson-One-Day-Demo/132407/

I agree..i love the song and it would of been great if it came after Walk Away or something..but after My December...its just...it feels like its beneath her...its so weird....i mean its a good song..but after the lyrics on My december...its just not up to par..but great song and a hit!

Popjustice Interview"I'm not a man and I don't claim to be"Straight down to the facts with Kelly Clarkson... When Kelly Clarkson was over in London a couple of weeks ago she set aside a few minutes for a chat with Popjustice in a posho hotel 'suite'. When we arrived she was wiping her hands on things and moaning about the fact that the dye in her new pair of jeans had rubbed off and was causing her some distress. Unbelievable scenes, viewers. Unbelievable scenes. So if these were your own cream leather sofas, you wouldn't wear those jeans on them, would you? You'd think, 'no. I'm not going to sit down in these jeans. That colour's going to come right off'. Well I wouldn't have cream-coloured sofas. They're not practical, really.I like dark. How dark?My whole house is really dark. Although I do have some brightly coloured rooms. My orange room is my favourite. What mood are you in when you go in there?Honestly, I don't really think about it. Oh.But the room I do most writing in is very dark; it's tiny and away from the rest of the house. Is there a window in that room?Yes. What can you see out of it?All my land, and ponds, and animals. I have seven horses, four miniature horses, and eight dogs. Do you ever line all the animals up according to size, from smallest on the left to biggest on the right? No. Why not? You could start with the dogs, then move up to the miniature horses, then the full-sized horses. They would never comply with that. They all have very different personalities. I love them. Now, we've been given six tracks from your new album to listen to. Does that mean that the other ones are rubbish? The other ones just haven't been mixed yet. Sometimes you get album samplers sent through and they've got four or five tracks on them, and the reason for that is that those are the only good ones.Oh no. Not with this one. We're just teasing you. There's one track on the album that you won't have heard - it's so good, it's like Eurythmics meets The Killers meets Garbage. I did that one with Ryan Tedder. We love all the same influences, the same bands. It was fun to get in the studio and meet a male version of me. What would a male version of you look like?My brother. What do men not understand about women?I don't know - I'm not a man and I don't claim to be. I don't want to even begin to get in men's heads. Now then. The album artwork. What's going on?It's my 'super hero' picture. I have super powers, I'm telling you. To be honest, it looks like you're about to flash your boobs.I have a full shirt on. What were you standing in front of when that picture was taken? What was so horrible that you had to Photoshop it out and replace with that backround? I was standing in front of a green screen. Do this background was the plan all along? Our whole thing was that we wanted it to be colourful; we wanted it to look like candy. Bright, colourful and fun, for fun, feisty pop songs. Was this an attempt to react against the imagery of the last album, after it didn't sell that well? That was a very popular album as well, I just thought it would be fun to change it up. But a lot of the new album is very fun and in-your-face. The cover photo shoot was very different to anything I've ever done. I'm biting at the chomp (??) for the next album already. It's so everyone gets the full grasp of me. It's hard to pinpoint me. Do your fans know you as well as they think they do?I'm changing, ever-changing, so once people think they've pinpointed you, you change. The one thing my fans love is that variety. It keeps them interested, and it keeps me interested, because I love so many genres of music. That's why I love pop music; if you're in a category, you get stuck, but with pop you can keep all the influences. Do you find it a bit unnerving that some of your fans like absolutely everything you do? That there are people in whose eyes you can, slightly weirdly, do no wrong?I think those people are awesome! (Guffaws) I have no problem with those people. Those are my favourites. What's the relationship between hats and music?Hats… And music? Do people make better music when they're wearing hats?Am I on Punk'd? No Kelly it's just an interview. Clearly there might not be a relationship between hats and music. But there might be. What do you think?I don't know - there's funky hats, there's sophisticated hats, there's conservative hats... In the world of jazz, for example, people wear an above-average number of hats. They totally have a fedora style in jazz. But I don't know. I'm not that deep. What's the worst song on the album?Umm… (Kelly's PA bellows "THEY'RE ALL GREAT" across the room) What's the best song on the album?I would say ‘All I Ever Wanted.' It's different to anything else on the radio right now. What's your favourite dinosaur?I would go for the long-kneck one. The vegetaraian. (Kelly's PA bellows "THE BRONTOSAURUS" across the room) Why?I'm a vegetarian. Thank you, Kelly Clarkson.

That interview was a little awkward LOL. I don't think Kelly got Popjustice's sense of humour lol. It's probably a British/American humour type of thing.

That interview could have been a lot more interesting had the interviewer had relevant questions. Wasted opportunity.

Yahoo Music Blog, Reality RocksKelly Clarkson Is Back! Or Did She Ever Really Leave? by Lyndsey Parker in Reality Rocks There's been a lot of "Kelly Clarkson is back!" hype recently, in light of her new single, "My Life Would Suck Without You," setting a chart record by vaulting from #97 to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. But I say Kelly never really left. A couple of years ago, much ado was made about the Original Idol's "controversial" third album, My December (aka The Album Clive Davis Didn't Want You To Hear), and its supposed lack of commercial appeal. Along with Kelly's poorly timed decision to fire her management firm (um, called The Firm) and cancel her summer tour just two weeks before My December's street date, there were those troubling rumors about Clive "I Don't Hear A Single" Davis tearing her a new you-know-what in record label board meetings. Or that gossip about him dangling a $10 million carrot in front of her face to persuade her to cut five songs that apparently didn't sound enough like "Since U Been Gone Part 2: Electric Boogaloo." Anyhoo, after all that hype and hearsay, I was expecting My December to sound like a nails-on-chalkboard cross between Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music and, say, any given Limp Bizkit album. Or at least to bear a passing resemblance to other troubled divas' radio-unfriendly, repeatedly shelved masterworks, like Fiona Apple's Extraordinary Machine and Nellie McKay's Pretty Little Head. But you know what? While nothing on My December sounded fluffy enough to have made it onto the From Justin To Kelly soundtrack, it still pretty much sounded like good ole Kelly to me. A little angrier, a little darker, maybe...but still Kelly. (And by the way, as for the much-ballyhooed "darkness" of My December's lyrical content, well...have you ever really listened closely to "Since U Been Gone," "Because Of You," or "Walk Away"? This was hardly the first time our poor bachelorette had sung her broken heart out regarding her man troubles.) But now Kelly is back with a poppier sound that hearkens back to her gazillion-selling second album, Breakaway, judging by the fizzy frothiness of "My Life Would Suck Without You" (which was crafted by the same Midas-touched Swedish hitmakers behind "Since U Been Gone"). She's also put her hair extensions and golden highlights back into her 'do, and the video for the song shows her cavorting playfully, romcom-style, with a hunky love interest (rather than plotting out sick ex-boyfriend revenge fantasies like she did in her bunny-boiling "Never Again" video). And in recent interviews, she's in total Stepford Wife robo-mode, downplaying (or outright denying) the My December fallout with all the Whitestrip-smiling, vacant-eyed, spin-controlling diplomacy of a Miss America contestant promoting world peace during a pageant interview segment. It's like all the fight has been beaten out of Kelly by the all-powerful record-label machine. Don't get me wrong--I think "My Life Would Suck Without You" is an AWESOME pop song, and I am thrilled to see Kelly's name in big block letters atop the charts again. But considering how vehemently she fought for creative control and the right to pen her own songs on her last album, I really do hope Kelly has some say regarding her career direction these days, especially now that she's four albums into that career. After all, I would hate to think the title of her new hit secretly refers to Clive Davis, and not to some cute new post-"Never Again" boyfriend.
