he's doing so great it's unbelievable. It's like, ouch the only thing we can do is seat down and to watchher do her thing. She'll be so HUGE in 09. Check out Britney and Beyonce. For real, I feel like she'll outsell pretty much everyone.

#1 music video on iTunes ! :) and: BILLBOARD CHART BEAT:'LIFE' GOES ON: Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" (RCA) is No. 1 on the Hot 100 for the second week. After just three weeks on the chart, the single is already one of the top 20 songs by an "American Idol" finalist. Using the point system developed for my book, "Billboard's Hottest Hot 100 Hits," here is an updated list of the greatest Hot 100 hits by "Idol" contestants. "My Life Would Suck Without You" registers at No. 18 amongst all "Idol" songs in its third chart week and will move up quickly with each passing week. Clarkson has eight songs in the top 20, more than any other artist. 1. "Since U Been Gone," Kelly Clarkson (2005) 2. "Before He Cheats," Carrie Underwood (2007) 3. "No Air," Jordin Sparks duet with Chris Brown (2008) 4. "Breakaway," Kelly Clarkson (2004) 5. "Because of You," Kelly Clarkson (2005) 6. "A Moment Like This," Kelly Clarkson (2002) 7. "Behind These Hazel Eyes," Kelly Clarkson (2005) 8. "It's Not Over," Daughtry (2007) 9. "Tattoo," Jordin Sparks (2007) 10. "Home," Daughtry (2007) 11. "This Is the Night," Clay Aiken (2003) 12. "Wait for You," Elliott Yamin (2007) 13. "Crush," David Archuleta (2008) 14. "Inside Your Heaven," Carrie Underwood (2005) 15. "Miss Independent," Kelly Clarkson (2003) 16. "Walk Away," Kelly Clarkson (2006) 17. "Sorry 2004," Ruben Studdard (2004) 18. "My Life Would Suck Without You," Kelly Clarkson (2009) 19. "Do I Make You Proud," Taylor Hicks (2006) 20. "One Step at a Time," Jordin Sparks (2008) www.billboard.com/bbcom/chart_beat/bonus.jsp?JSESSIONID=qFlZJKyV2JXhs0Q7qgJWG5dVptFhyStsCt5GknvrDm6tlhVfnD2R%21992723814

I get a Walk Away kind of a vibe from Why You Wanna Bring Me Down. It's feisty and fun. I think it will be one that a lot of people are kind of unsure of in the beginning but will grow to love.

Ugh, I loved Yeah. I know a lot of people seem to dislike it but it's one of my favorites from My December. I think the song's just ok, but the vocals are amazing. But I like Why Ya as a song and I think the vocals will be awesome, so I'm just excited.

I don't "wannabringyadown", but Clive Davis was on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this am and provided "his opinion" about Kelly's current success and the concept of singers attempting to song-write, after Ryan brought Kelly and the topic up. Good job at kissing *ss, Seacrest ! Judge for yourself: www.kiisfm.com/main.html

I feel for Kelly. She must be so frustrated by this man. Kelly has been quite the PC/Geneva-like interviewee when asked questions about Clive and the 'My December' mess during the loads of interviews she has given in the past weeks; however, to hear Clive seemingly loosen the can of sh*t that was attempted to have been sealed from the last era is indeed very, very frustrating. Hello- 'Because of You' !!! Anyways, I hope Kelly doesn't hear this interview before tomorrow night because I would hate for it to ruin a hopefully great party and (likely) performance(s). At least Clive had the courtesy on inviting and giving a performance slot to Kelly, and further, I hope there is NO more media mess between the two of them. Note to media (including the spineless Seacrest), give it up !!!!!! ETA: Happy 3000th post, freakshow ! ETA: I agree with ya, freakshow !

Not to reopen old wounds (although Seacrest sure tried to), but I thought Clive was very complimentary to Kelly in the Seacrest interview. He said -- and this is a verbatim quote: "There's no question Kelly is a great singer. She's really one of our absolute premier pop singers with a throaty, full, powerful voice...and you gotta match her with the right material. The business of records is the artist, but also the material."
Seacrest is the one who brought up the singer-songwriter vs. not a singer-songwriter thing in the interview. In response, Clive stated a point of view he's had throughout his career. The fact that he has that point of view isn't at all surprising given that he came up in the business at a time when it was rare for singers to also write their own material. So I didn't take that part of the interview as being directed at Kelly, or any other artist for that matter, although he named several.

I, too, think that Ryan was quite the instigating sh*-t-starting trying to continue to be "the hardest working man in Hollywood" as premiere "interviewer", but unfortunately Clive too the bait and ran with the question a bit too much, as nearly half of the interview was just about that issue...

Clive's boy Roger Friedman reported that Kelly is rumored to be singing MLWSWY. That will be great and I'd also love to hear her sing "Sober" for the crowd of music business luminaries and have her knock them dead with her beautiful vocals and heartfelt interpretive skills. I wonder how many would have the balls to applaud. It would be interesting to see and hear the reaction. ;) www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,489388,00.html

Seacrest is an absolute idiot to bring up Kelly, and then deliberately say, "Kelly aside" when bringing up the subject of singers/songwriters. He's just kissing ass.
At the end, he even says "All right, Buddy! Take care". I mean, what 20 or 30 something year old man calls someone who is 76 a buddy. Seacrest is absolutely shallow, and I will never like him.

FWIW, Seacrest is 34. Anyway, screw Seacrest (an unpleasant thought). All his muckraking can't take away the fact that Kelly has been number... On the Billboard Hot 100 two weeks in a row.

ETA: Happy 3000th post, freakshow ! Thanks! I hope Kelly does perform LWS tomorrow, I'm dying for a live performance of it. But then again, I just think about Clive and what he said. haha that would be great. Kelly should sing a MD song just to piss Clive off.
