I'm a bit surprised Long Shot made the cut. Kelly never talked about it when she talks about Katy Perry. Among all of those, I'm so excited to hear Save You, Hook Up and If I Can't Have You! And I'm kinda curious to hear how Kelly is going to sing the intro/first verse of Long Shot. It sounds horrible in the Katy version.  Why hasn't RCA updated their press site yet for Kelly? So weird! Anyway, does anyone have a link to the Sony BMG Press site? I can't seem to find it. Thanks! :) |

But isnt only a cover if the song has already been released?
then it would make 2, the 2 Aranda songs. But Im not sure if the Keri Noble song was released.
EDIT: yep it was released, so that makes it 3 covers.

SCORE! I had this feeling we'd be getting something today... and here it is! =D
Hook Up, AIEW, Whyyawanna, Save You, Long Shot and INOWL have been previously recorded... I don't like that, but oh well, i'm going to forget about the originals as soon as i hear kelly's versions LOL
But hooray 16 new songs this era! =D I hope we also get a couple of b-sides... Lets bring the total to 18-20 new songs! LOL

Has kelly recorded 'dance'? i would think so if it was in the running for lead single. Clive was interviewed on KIIS LA, and he mentioned something about an artist go back to studio and record more hits for the album, so it'll have more hits than just 1 and it'll sell more copy. I got a feeling right away he was talking about kelly-AIEW-"i justwanna dance with u". did anyone else notice? And instead, we are getting "READY" =( Im not a big fan of the song at all, maybe the final proper version will change my mind, i doubt it though since basically we know how the song goes, structured and melody wise. i'd rather a completly new/better song made it instead but YAY FOR THE TRACKLISTING!!!! next step would be either the full version of I DO NOT HOOK UP and 30- sec whole album clip. i hope it's the full hook up. 30 sec clip is often missleading, hard to get a feel. |

Aben as in Aben Eubanks, Kelly's guitarist on her band. He co-wrote Sober and since that song (and the album) was screwed of its potential, he didn't get much royalties from it. I'm happy for Jason as well.

I'm with you there though, as formula as Max and Luke's songs are, I would have loved another one.  But I expected that it wouldn't be on there in the first place, so I'm not too disappointed. Anyway, I'm really surprised Ready made it! It's weird seeing a song that fans actually want on the CD actually make it! (after songs like All I Know, Come Here, Don't, Anymore, etc. not making it on albums). I am also shocked that Long Shot made it - Kelly never mentioned there being another Katy song on the album. She always said that there was one song by her, which we all know as I Do Not Hook Up. But I'm thrilled there's 14 songs again - a nice amount. Hopefully there's an iTunes pre-order bonus track and maybe a Japanese one too! I'm always greedy for more songs. I've gotta go listen to Long Shot (again) and to If No One Will Listen.  |

Diva, what I mean by that sentence is that I'm happy Aben's track, "Maybe", made it onto the album. I don't care whether it's a single or not, I'm just happy it's on the album and he'll get paid coin (cash) for every album that is sold. If it ever becomes a single (which i doubt) he'll get coin for every time it's played. I know Aben, I like him and I'm happy for him. That's all. Thanks nucker for filling Diva in on who Aben is.  I would rather have "Close Your Eyes" over "Ready" because that's my favorite of the leaked demo's, and Aben wrote that with Kelly as well. But "Ready" is a great song also, imo. |

Sweet update music4aw Just wondering if anyone knows her promo schedule yet? and if so what it entails. I don't think a promo schedule has been announced yet, although information posted here a couple of weeks ago said that they are planning a lot of public appearances when the album drops. |

I would rather have "Close Your Eyes" over "Ready" because that's my favorite of the leaked demo's, and Aben wrote that with Kelly as well. But "Ready" is a great song also, imo. I totally agree. I wonder if they re-worked Ready at all - IIRC, it's short. I haven't listened to it in a while, so I don't really remember. |
