"Already Gone" is awesome! I probably like it because it sounds like a rockier version of "Halo"! lol Amazing album! I was thinking the same thing. Also, I really, really, love "Don't Let Me Stop You." Musically, it seems kind of dark, like the "Behind These Hazel Eyes" of this album. Love it!

Kelly's going to need another one of those videos where people stop their cars to get out and dance for Whyyawannabringmedown...because I would do that, like Walk Away.

OK, I don't like the album. Mainly because it is completely inoffensive and generic. Breakaway was great because it had some absolute pop gold on there. My December was great because it had some musical and artistic gems like Irvine. This album falls somewhere in between and ends up having neither of those things. The Ryan Tedder songs are OK but again, really generic. There is some glossy production that My December lacked but that's about it. I find all the songs pretty boring. I think a few songs will grow on me though. I'm kinda liking Impossible, Long Shot, If I Can't Have You, Already Gone, Ready and I Want You. But I don't think I'll ever LOVE them like songs from MD and Breakaway. Like I said, it's not that any songs are particularly terrible (except Whyyawannabringmedown), it's just they're all so middle of the road.

IMO, Ready is pretty much a country song.

I agree with the poster pages back that it seems to be a nice combination of Breakway and My December into one.

I can hear Whyyawanna being used on one of those dance contest shows like 'So You Think You Can Dance' and 'Dancing With The Stars.' I hope it becomes a single.

So what do people think of "I Want You"? I like it, but a lot of people seem to be hating it. I just like how different it is. It sounds a lot like an Ingrid Michaelson song to me. She loves those "I-ay-ay" things, like in "The Way I Am" and "Giving Up". I love Ingrid, so of course, I like the song.

"I Want You" is a great song! I was surprised by the 50's/60's vibe from it. Very different and fresh!

Norwegian iTunes Leaks Kelly Clarkson’s “All I Ever Wanted"A little less than a month before its official March 10th release date, Kelly Clarkson’s entire All I Ever Wanted was accidentally leaked onto the Internet by an unlikely source: the Norway division of Apple’s iTunes music service. Clarkson fans rejoiced earlier today when they noticed that Norwegian iTunes was streaming 30-second clips of each song on All I Ever Wanted, which is typical of the digital music service’s pre-purchase preview. However, listeners soon realized that they could, due to an iTunes error, purchase the entire new album rather than just settle for snippets. And as things snowball quickly on the Internet, All I Ever Wanted was quickly distributed on P2P sites and message boards. Rock Daily confirmed that the file contains a 192kpbs version of the album that was encoded via iTunes. Additionally, this screen grab of the Norway iTunes shows how fans made their discovery. iTunes U.S. offers neither a preview nor the ability to purchase All I Ever Wanted. This leak comes just hours after we posted about the accidental leak surrounding U2’s No Line on the Horizon, which was prematurely offered on a digital music service run by Universal Music Group’s Australian division. This isn’t the first time iTunes has leaked an album before street date, however: In March 2008, despite the great lengths the Raconteurs went through to ensure their Consolers of the Lonely didn’t leak — including waiting until the last minute to announce the album, a surprise Rock Daily ruined — iTunes made Consolers available before it hit stores. www.rollingstone.com/rockdaily/index.php/2009/02/20/norwegian-itunes-leaks-kelly-clarksons-all-i-ever-wanted/

I actually think parts of this album are more experimental than other albums she has done. I was definitely surprised by how much variety and different sounds there were as opposed to generic pop songs or Breakaway Part Two with a dash of My December.

I Do Not Hook Up: This is just an amazing pop song. Insanely infectious. I liked it when Katy Perry sang it, and I love it now as a KC track. I have a feeling this will be bigger than MLWSWY.
Cry: Her vocals are brilliant. I haven't listened to this one much yet, but I really like it.
Don't Let Me Stop You: Sooooo good. She shatters these vocals. Great emotion. This is definitely one of the best off the album.
All I Ever Wanted: I prefer the arrangement on the Aranda version - it's moodier.
Already Gone: Remember all those walls we built, well, baby, they're tumbling down. Oh, wrong song? Anyway, I'm not too keen on this one. I think Ryan's very limited in his songwriting ability - this is basically "Apologize" and "Halo" mashed into one.
If I Can't Have You: Musically, I despise this one. The chorus is just dreadful.
Save You: She sounds good, but I don't really think the song goes anywhere.
Whyyouwannabringmedown: Her vocals are scorching on the chorus, but this just screams Miley Cyrus/Ashlee Simpson to me. The sad thing is, Kelly should be able to pull this type of song off, but it just sounds too forced.
Long Shot: The verses are really awesome, but the chorus is pretty generic. She sounds dead-up like Katy on the demo in bits, too.
Impossible: Pretty underwhelming and bland.
Ready: I am a HUGE fan of this demo. And all those demos, for that matter. "Close Your Eyes" is the best song she's done, and it's the direction she clearly wants to go in if she did those demos just for her own musical expression. The new production on this kind of detracts from the lo-fi quality I loved about the demo, but I still think the song is genius. I miss the "sh*t," though. Damn you Walmart and overprotective parents shielding your children from the "dangerous" things in life like cuss words!
I Want You: I adore this song until the Duffy wannabe backup singers come on. Yes, this is a retro-sounding song, but that doesn't mean you need to get some fake raspy Welsh wannabes on the track.
If No One Will Listen: She MURDERS these vocals, but everything about it is kind of cheesy. I'm not big on the arrangement either. It spends all this time building up, and then the climax is very underwhelming.
Overall, I'm kind of neural. There are some AMAZING gems on here - "I Do Not Hook Up," "Cry," and "Don't Let Me Stop You." However, there are also some really generic dance/pop/rock tracks - "If I can't Have You," "Whyyouwannabringmedown," "Impossible." The most disappointing thing to me is how little Kelly I see in here. I know she co-wrote these songs, but based on the demos we weren't supposed to hear, this isn't really her chosen direction. She says in interviews how she will sing any song that she thinks is good, but I'd really prefer for it to be songs that she is passionate about from herself. That being said though, the Katy Perry reject "I Do Not Hook Up" is my favorite." So, I don't know. It's definitely a sugary, commercial pop album meant to sell lots of units - which is fine. It just doesn't sit well with me knowing that half of the album was handed to her already written and worked out. I think Kelly has great potential as an artist; I'd like to see her in categories with James Morrison or Sara Bareilles, not just in the Miley Cyrus or High School Musical "if you hand it to me, I'll sing it" grouping.

Probably not. Leaks will happen, it's a part of the business now. Brit and Beyonce's albums leaked early as well, and they sold pretty well. Granted, they are bigger artists than Kelly, but I still think Kelly should do well in her first week.

If Kelly can get that, and then have some longevity, I'll be a happy camper.

Sigh...I'm giving into the leak. 94% downloaded now.
If the album were coming out in a week I could wait, but this is too long. I feel bad for her that it's leaked so early. I have every intention of buying the deluxe version still, so at least there will be two new songs and some videos on March 10!
Any chance they'll push the release date up again? I don't know how usual that is...and they've done some pretty serious early marketing about the March 10 release date, but maybe pushing it up a week or two would fend off some of the damage this leak will cause. 18 days is a long time for fans to get used to the album and "forget" to download it...
