I do not really understand what Tina Fey is trying to tell me to do. Pretty clearly, telling you to leave the thread and/or disagreeing with you...

Quite annoyed with this song by now. Really? I'm still enjoying it, though I have burned myself out on it a tad...I put it in my "on the go" playlist like 5 times. I am really looking forward to the album though....

I had a feeling it was something along those lines, but I wasn't sure if there was a more specific reference that I didn't from 30 Rock or SNL or some movie she was in. And I was just saying this song blows because it was funny after your hater comment. Basically I was just amusing myself by being a dick on the internet. I don't like the song that much, but I wouldn't say I'm a hater. I mostly just wanted to get a reaction. Mission accomplished.

Haha or in my case more like...procrastinating and avoiding doing two senior projects. ;)
But definitely in the same spirit as your detection of Artie's cataclysmic spelling error.

I guess it just didn't catch me like a reunion single should have?

I have been hearing a lot these days, so I'm a little bit burned out. And the album's not even out yet.

Along with "Lay Me Down," my local station WPBZ has been playing this over 50 times a week over the past month, but I've learned that if I go out of my way to listen to other forms of music, I won't be burnt out on big hits so easily. I've had my fair share of hearing this to probably around ten times, but I'm certainly not tired of it and actually really don't remember much of how it goes besides the chorus. One song I really am tired of is "Letter From A Thief." For the love of god Chevelle, put a new single for adds already.

I agree, Chevelle should put out something new real soon. I still rather enjoy Letter From a Thief however.

I've burned out on "Letter from a Thief" too. I'm just getting started with this however.

As long as they don't try to be too bombastic, they should get acceptance. But when working with legends like Slash & Duff, it may be tough for Weiland to find what he needs with a bunch of anonymous bandmates.

The DeLeo brothers work is just as "legendary" for me as Slash and Duff. I know not many will share the same sentiments but personally they are great and I'm anticipating this album as much as any I have in the last few years.

I'm not sure the Deleos will be inducted into Cleveland's Hall in 2012 though.

They are great songwriters and musicians. They are not "names" but what does that matter?

It doesn't matter to listeners. I just wonder if Weiland will accept the "step back" so to speak after being with Velvet Revolver.

Hardly, but still a step back. Which band is better is obviously debatable. Success is hard to tell because the tenure of each band is not comparable. But Velvet Revolver had a #1 album and #1 singles much quicker than Stone Temple Pilots did.

I haven't heard anything from the album yet, or even seen a track list. I imagine we'll have one before the end of the month.
