I see. Pantera I get, but none of those other bands are musical household names. But I guess any mixture of band member qualifies as a superband or supergroup.

Hey back on topic- I created a poll for what the follow up singles should be over in the polling booth. Go check it out- it will likely get ignored by all the "diva maniacs."

Man, the entire rest of the album sounds sooo much more interesting than Between The Lines. Why couldn't they have released any of those songs instead of BtL as the lead single? They're equally, if not more, marketable.

They're equally, if not more, marketable. I agree with that- there are so many great songs on the album. I think, though, Between the Lines worked as the lead single. It did well enough to introduce the album. Now on to the next singles.

I had assumed 4 had as well. I think #4 was top 5, but it definitely wasn't #1.

Picked up the CD over the weekend. Far from original, but love how they mixed Bowie, The Doors, and of course The Beatles into many of the tracks. Take A Load Off and Hickory Dichotomy were the standout songs for me after a listen.

Glee - An American musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox in the United States. It focuses on a high school show choir called "New Directions", at the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio.
But seriously, you haven't at least heard of it?

Never seen it myself, but have heard of it. I was wondering what a TV show had to do with Stone Temple Pilots. I assumed they're guesting on the show.

OK, get it now. But honestly, who cares what position its first weeks sales indicate if you like the album? All of the sudden the good songs aren't so good because some High School Musical TV show outsold it now? I think we're all a little above that.

You sure? The review I read said it was a small screen variation or at least very similar.

She makes music that everyone can enjoy (and that I enjoy) and that's better that can be said for a lot of artists.

And you think I couldn't have just said "not true" for "It's true, man"? I said can anyway. As in, all kinds of people could enjoy if they gave it a chance. I didn't mean literally everyone. GaGa also has the aide of her excellent stage setup and music videos. That's as much art as music is. So she's really a good artist--no matter what your stance on the music--all things considered.
