It's still #1 in audience. "Animal" is also dropping at an astounding rate, so "The Catalyst" could be #1 again on mediabase alternative in spins too in a few days. And if the trend continues over the course of today, LP could retain the #1 spot on Billboard and make Neon Trees' premature celebration all the more excruciatingly hilarious. I'd guess that Labor Day weekend is skewing the numbers. |

However, at the same time, "The Catalyst" appears finished at Active Rock, where the numbers have NOT been affected notably by the Labor Day weekend. "The Catalyst" as predicted has at least temporarily reclaimed the #1 spot on mediabase alternative. My guess is that this week they'll have it on Billboard again, meaning that Neon Trees' window to get in there is closing much faster than an In-N-Out's pickup window for veggie burgers.

The video for this song is a bit meh, they could of had a more epic video to elevate the song.
