Apparently this has very little guitar, an uptempo "almost jungle" rhythm, an urgent synth line and a strong vocal.

Hot It Dies Today remake! I will say, hooray to LP for not taking the cliched title route this time around. This. Plus, it's also fascinating that the lead single is the next to last track.

a Spanish song? That'd be epic. I'm so excited for this album.

The word I've used to describe this art is hypnotic.

The word I've used to describe this art is hypnotic. I'd say "cheap" myself, but perhaps it will grow on me.

I think it looks cool, but I don't get the tie-in with the title A Thousand Suns. Is it a thousand suns gravitationally amassed into one giant black hole? Is that your plane of vision when staring at something as intense as a thousand suns? It's not meant to be obvious, but I'd be interested in their interpretation.

I assumed so too. It better not be the album cover.

I just looked on their website and its the album cover. There's also a CD/DVD combo that will have this cover... - A holographic, foil board digipak case that contains the album and the making of A Thousand Suns documentary

Apparently the song's time is 5:42. Longest LP single ever.

Cover Art: This seems like a nod to U2's "No Line on the Horizon" album cover to me. Honestly, I'm neither fond nor annoyed by it. I'm indifferent, really. That said, it does seem to me, on early impressions, that this will be an interesting era for them artistically. Namaste, Lisping Hibiscus

It's weird but I hope this album really doesn't get that popular radio-wise. Like most of Green Day's new album. Makes it more interesting for me, to know I have the hidden gems. xD
Of course I want the most success for the band, but I'm just saying, I find myself more attracted to good music that's unknown.

I don't see dance at all. High bpm's doesn't always equal dance.

I'm not saying them going "dancy" is necessarily a bad thing either. Every album Linkin Park has put out has had it's differences from one another and I like how they experiment with every new song. Very few bands do that much now in days. This is just something different. Something I'm not used to and didn't expect, but I'm sure not every song on the album sounds like a Lady Gaga song :)
